“Stopped by this location christmas eve morning. It was right in the middle of the storm. Locations wasnt very busy, service was pretty quick and food taste better than expected. Chicken nuggets weren't over fried or old tasting like most locations do now a days. Chicken nuggets taste like real Chicken, the whoppers weren't cold and the tater tots weren't old. Honestly the best food my family has had from a burger kind in a few years now. Thank you to the gentleman that was there that morning, he was really kind and he offered coupons.“

“We had to make an unplanned stop at this Carls Jr due to an emergency. The carls Jr supervisor, Carlos Renoso, was friendly and helpful to all the customers. The food was great, service was fast, and the restaurant was very well-run. I recommend this location if you are looking for a quick meal or need to take a break while traveling on highway 5 through the LA area.“

“I'm sorry to say that this is the first time I get a person at the drive through window that doesn't know how to listen at all. It was useless to keep talking to him. He's probably new and still needs to learn a bit more English, I understand. But he shouldn't be at drive through yet till he gains more customer service experience and training. 😕“

“Mgr Brianna made my day!! A different McD got our entire order wrong. Didn't realize the mistake until we were on the freeway. Stopped by to gas up at costco. Swung by this drive thru & asked if they could help us with our order. She patiently listened as I explained the mistake by the other restaurant (i provided our receipts). She made it right, made an exception for us & fixed it without any hesitation.

Theres a public parking right around the corner, the food was ready pretty quick, fresh seats outside, and delicious burger and curly fries. I’m coming here again if I’m ever in the area.“

“I stopped by Amboy Burgers after coming to Union Station on the Greyhound from San Diego. The place had a small line outside but it moved quickly. Since it was my first time, I ordered the classic Amboy burger with yellow peppers, and went to sit at a table outside.

I was en route to LAX and realized my phone battery was quite low. I asked the clerk if I could charge my phone for a bit and he graciously plugged me in behind the counter. The burger itself was really good. It tasted like what I’d call a crossover of In-N-Out and a hole-in-the-wall smashburger spot. The meat was super flavorful, though, and the bun was quite good too.

The only downside is that it was like ~$18 after tax for a fairly small burger. But, I realize this is Los Angeles in 2026, so I let it slide and not interfere with my interpretation of the burger. Plus, the willingness to let me charge was really nice.“

The burgers at Bungraze are so manicured and thoughtful eating them is an experience! The quality and choice of ingredients and how all the flavors mesh together are unparalleled.

You would be doing yourself a disservice to not try the Fries as well as the accompanying sauces.

Truly when all put together it is a meal worthy of consideration for the title, King of burgers in LA“

“I recently stopped by Tam’s Burgers and had a solid overall experience. The menu is packed with variety—from classic burgers and fries to breakfast items, Mexican dishes, and even slushies. It’s a place where you can definitely satisfy a craving no matter what you’re in the mood for.

One of the standout positives is that they now accept EBT, which makes their food more accessible to everyone. The prices are reasonable considering the portions, most meals range from about $10 to $15. They also have combo options that include drinks, and the drink station is fully stocked with Pepsi products, frozen slushies, and soft-serve machines.

The interior is simple but clean, with a modern black tile floor and red booth seating. There’s plenty of space to sit and eat comfortably. The “Order Here” signage is clear, and there’s a solid system in place for taking orders.

Staff were efficient, though not overly friendly, which is fine, this place seems more about speed and quantity than sit-down service. Still, the food came out hot and fresh.

If you’re looking for a no-frills spot with a big menu and fast service, Tam’s gets the job done. It’s not gourmet, but it’s reliable comfort food at a good price.“

“To be totally transparent. I had the breakfast burrito. I t was huge. The flavor was spot on. They add loads of crispy bacon, they pile it on. The sausage was good. The potatoes were smooth and you must get the ranch dressing on the side; if you like ranch dressing. Which cost 75cents which is good because you get a nice size cup. The bacon makes the breakfast burrito a game changer. Each bite add a little Ranch and a little salsa. That's right!😋🤣“

The answer was either the teriyaki bowl or plates, and the teriyaki burgers.. I got the teriyaki chicken bowl.. it looked and smelled great driving home.. After eating it, I didn’t understand the line of people waiting.. It was okay, but in my opinion, no big deal.. “I was in LA for four nights, went to other notable restaurants, and this was by far the best dining experience I had. You feel like you are in a friend's home. All of the dishes were delicious, fresh, vibrant and beautiful. Every detail is intentional. The dishes and platers are stunning and thoughtfully chosen. Highly recommend. “I came here cause my partner found it and raved about it. He bought me a club Sandwich the day he found it and it was really good. We just came today and had their cheeseburger and fries. Nothing in the burger was like mushy. Everything felt fresh and with a bite. My favorite part is that their fried zucchini is breaded in this light, yet crunchy breading. Only way I can describe it is almost like tempura. The zucchini itself is not mushy and wet. It feels like they’re not frozen but chopped and made in house. 10/10 for me. Very pleased“
