“Amazing food! I ordered an al pastor burrito and four asada tacos, and every bite was completely worth it. The burrito alone was massive check out my photo where it’s practically the size of a Nissan N300 rearview mirror (weird comparison but that's whats in the photo) Flavor-wise, everything was spot on: bold, authentic, and satisfying.

What really made the experience, though, was the atmosphere and the people. Everyone was so kind and respectful. The cook had me add my own salsa and onions outside before handing it back to him to wrap up, which made it feel even more personal. The cashier was just as great she even had samples ready of the drinks before deciding which one to buy.

They accept Zelle, which is super convenient, and the outdoor setup really captures that authentic LA street food vibe. This place is the real deal.“

“They have cute macaroons and large cookies as well as ice cream of you wanted cookie sandwich. The chocolate chip cookie was just right. Not too gooey. The price is just slightly above average but considering the style of macaroons, its would be justified. The artful details on the cookie would be worth with if it was a little bit larger. The attendant was helpful when I asked for ingredients on the cookies due to my food allergies. He was pleasant. Thought it was sketchy buying corn from a man in the middle of the night. Turned out to be a life changing experience. 5/7 Corn was as sweet as the dream I had that night. Would buy corn from sketchy man again.“

“Huuuuge portions of really tasty food. This place is a sleeper- great value for LA. The food is prepared with care and the flavors don’t disappoint. I have had the Habibi a few times with chicken and it’s such a good burrito. Cucumber salad was tasty and the Jamaica is really tart ! Just the way I like it.“

“This cart is a great example of what I love about the LA food scene: tucked off the boulevard, in front of the municipal parking, is high quality, hand made food at a great price.

Asked for suggestions of what to get and was suggested a mix of Huitlachoche and Chicharron. The blue masa is pressed and cooked to order, cooked with cheese, and then finally cooked with the fillings. A nice addition to the salsa bar is the cotija cheese which went great with my Quesadilla.

The Quesadilla was phenomenal; the Huitlachoche was cooked well and had an almost stewed like texture that was cut by the saltiness and crispness of the Chicharrons. The crisp cheese and fresh tortilla were great as well.

For $9 this was a great lunch, looking forward to coming back again.“

“We ordered 4 Taiyakis for only $12. Then the owner was so sweet! She offered a 5th one for free. Got our fresh Taiyakis after pager rang quickly! All flavors were great: Red bean, apple, custard cream, mango, and chocolate filling within freshly baked crunchy shells. We almost wanted to order another round if we were not on the way of leaving Little Tokyo Market. Must try again next time!

Kid-friendliness: The fresh fish shaped Taiyaki tastes much better than the frozen one kids usually get in stores.“

“The fact that we felt transported in time with the vibe alone is 5 stars. I got treated to a perfect chilaquiles en mole covered with sunny side up eggs. Side of refried beans and white rice sprinkled with cotija cheese. One word. Phenomenal. Add a chia lemonade, and I'd say I had the perfect breakfast. Second dish was a pozole with a side of pata had to order a second pata it was so good and tender. Radio Joya in the background playing, definitely took us Mexico City in what felt a 70s era. In the picture here me and my mom ordered one FAT carne asada burrito (i requested no beans) and 2 tacos! They have onions and cilantro, limes, sauces on the side if u want some to go with ur food.

“Some super birria tacos, and not to mention on the weekends; tacos al pastor. A delicious tacos, al pastor are genuine Mexican style, the closest thing in Los Angeles. You can also order a plate of birria which comes with meat and their tortillas on the side. Another option is beef birria, for those who don't like goat. The great assortment of cakes, quesabirrias and quesadillas among other things. The trompo and grilled tacos al pastor can only be found on the weekend. Now you can also find Ramen with birria and quesabirrias.“

“i go to college and this food truck was posted just outside my dorm. decided to try it since i’m a big fan of Mexican food and it did not disappoint. Service was super fast even though there was a huge line. the food was absolutely incredible and easily goes in my top 5 best Mexican dishes. i got the perro with no beans and it was amazing. it included a huge homeade flour tortilla, super tender and juicy steak, a whole grilled jalapeño, spicy salsa, guacamole and cilantro and onions. definitely plan on eating here again and would highly recommend if you have the opportunity.“
