“I had a list of 10 Mediterranean places to go to lunch with my friend in Pasadena and I am glad I narrowed it down to this one. Now, I was a little weary about the food coming out as soon as we were paying BUT the food was pretty amazing. This just tells me that they are super efficient during lunchtime on a Saturday! “Elena's has to be one of the best places in So Cal for Mediterranean food. All their meats (chicken, pork chops, beef, lamb) are always tender and juicy. Their service is second to none. They're always welcoming, friendly and helpful. I also think they have the best lentil soup.“

“Recently came here for an early dinner and I have been here a few times in the past and it totally slipped my mind to write a review in the past; so here I am today. This place never disappoints, I love the food here. Everything will everything on my plate was awesome. “This place is a hidden gem, very cozy with indoor and outdoor seating. I wished I came here more often... It's tucked in the corner of a plaza, hence the name. I ordered the vegetarian plate and wow, it was delicious! Each bite was filled with layers of flavor and it was fun to eat. My taste buds were happy and it satisfied my hunger. Plus, parking is free and the staff were friendly!“

“I love this place. It is gourmet drive thru. I get the Greek salad with tuna when I go and the chicken tenders kids meal. Whenever I take anyone they like it. Only thing I would say is, always check your food before you leave. They give you the house dressing when you get a salad and it's just oil/vinegar, make sure to ask for a different dressing or you will be disappointed. I had one incident when they hardly put any feta on my Greek salad. When I told them they promptly fixed up my salad so it was perfect. I have only been inside twice and it is clean and fine. Nothing special but cleaner than most small diner spots I've been to in LA.“

“Service was great, and the restaurant is a fun vibe. Go with a big group so you can try a variety of dishes. We tried the cauliflower, beets, hummus, panzanella salad, oyster mushrooms, branzino, potatoes, and some friends had the rib eye. For dessert we tried the baklava pie and the olive oil ice cream. The panzanella was my favorite dish, but overall everything was solid. It's in a small strip mall and has a few parking spots which is an added bonus.“

I'm very picky with where I eat specific plates from & the menudo here is one of the best to me. Its a small place that feels like home, weekend are sure to be busy but the wait shouldn't be to long unless you have a big party. Everyone is really friendly as if they've known you for years.“

“If you are looking for Mediterranean food in silver lake Meze is a great choice. Portion sizes are large and their sides are fantastic. The pasta salad and baba ghanoush are both fresh and a great pair for any of the plates. The lule kabob plate was flavorful and filing. I will be back to try more dishes.“
