“My first experience with the house of bagels, but in the late 60s, I attended high school with one of the sons and also had my first Onion flat. After moving back from New York and year 2000 I was glad to see that they were still in business, And that whenever I am in and around always without hesitation, stop by to pick up some bagels or two or three🥰“

“This was my last stop in California before i hit the airport. I would highly recommend them just like our local friend did. Lovely baked goods on display. Grabbed a few for my plane ride snack. They also do coffee, tea and boba but my hands were too full to try those.“

“Valerio's Tropical Bakeshop offers popular Filipino sweet goodies. I would recommend anyone to try their ube halaya and buko pie, it's not too sweet and it is best eating it during snack time with a coffee. But if you have a sweet tooth and loves eating a dessert after a meal, try tasting their yummy leche flan (it is like a creme brulee).“

“This is a hidden gem. Almost tempted not to mention them. Their food is amazing. We have gone several times and each time it’s great. The Birria torte and red tacos are amazing. Privately owned. Soooooo good and there is a bakery in there too! Owners super nice.“

“I've been coming here since I was a kid and the quality has never ever gone down. The carrot cake they have here has ruined all carrot cake for me because it is INCREDIBLE here. The chocolate cupcakes are to die for, the Bavarian cream puffs are a 15/10 and the eclairs are 🤌🤌🤌🤌. I'm eating carrot cake right now from somewhere else dreaming of alpine. I love you guys and I'm so happy I live 3 blocks away“

“Small midtown friendly farmers market. Location is in a lovely park with plenty of street parking around the area. There are also numerous eateries and shops.“

“Good food but the employees seemed annoyed to serve you. They also had very loud music playing like it was a party and the store was completely empty. It was our first time there. We will try a different location next time to give it another try, probably won't be back to this one“

“I love the empanadas and the breading of the spicy chicken empanada. I ended up ordering a 6 piece for my family and I. Not only that, the employees are so nice. The mamons are excellent too! I recommend the cheesy mamon. I will definitely come back here!“
