“Just a few weeks ago I was looking for a high end restaurant for “date night”. An elegant restaurant with excellent service where ladies and gentlemen would be treated as such. We went to Fleming's and were disappointed with the loud and crowded environment similar to TGI Friday's. Wait staff and service matched that. Ruth Chris Steakhouse provided us with a quiet secluded room with a corner table as I requested in my reservation. The staff was extremely well mannered and the ambiance was perfect. All tables were full, but they aren't on top of each other so you can have a private conversation. The food is excellent with steaks cooked to perfection. We ordered the “Classic” which includes a full course inclusive of dessert and portions that are appropriately sized instead of cartoonishly large. (If you want a Porterhouse they have that as well). One small ding, after finishing dinner we had to wait a long time until the table was cleared and bill presented. Other than that, perfect. This is the place for romantic dinners where old fashioned white glove service has been restored. ;)“
