“I love this place! Discovered it last year while vacationing in Newport. They have the yummiest freshest farm fresh food. Last night We had the BBQ bacon cheeseburger, curry chicken sandwich and Drunken noodles. Probably the best burger I have ever had! The curry sandwich was to die for and the noodles were very spicy but delicious!
We will definitely return.

“Very nice place, good service. I have been here multiple times for lunch. My food was great, French toast and it comes with a little bowl of berries. My only complaint this time was that they must have changed the brand of coffee cause it was awful, almost tasted sour.“

“Stopped in this cafe on a whim today and was so happy I did. I got the breakfast sandwich with bacon. Everything was cooked to perfection. The sourdough was amazingly good, crisp and chewy, and the eggs were fluffy. The staff was so friendly and nice and the pricing was very reasonable. “This is one of my favorite local spots. I go there a few times a week, and they always deliver great food and friendly service.

The chorizo and avocado breakfast burrito is my favorite—it’s flavorful and really well-made. They’re also pretty quick, which is great when you’re short on time.

“Food and service were great. We are seated at around 2pm. Not a long wait even if we made reservation for 1:45. Inquired about happy hour menu. We were told we can only order from happy hour menu if we are seated in the patio area which is unheard of but other than that all is good.“

“One particularly hot night my mom and I searched, “Best Gelato near me” and the top result was Mangiamo! After eating the gelato 3 times in a row, we can definitely say that title is well earned! The Double Chocolate flavor is for sure the best chocolate flavored Gelato in the whole state of California; not to mention it’s totally authentic too! The server is also incredibly kind and pleasant to talk to. Overall, this place is such a phenomenal experience and we would highly recommend it for vacationers and gelato connoisseurs alike!“

“Spacious layout with a country homey feel. Well thought out table placements and booth buildouts. The salad was a healthy size and seasonal variety favorite of our group. Noticed they provided steel cups for the water station, yes they had plastic, but it was refreshing to see they get water tastes better out of plastic and single use, pardon my French, just sucks, avoid doing it like a campsite counselor avoids a visiting Grizzly to the campsite. Their sandwiches were not overly packed, which I find is a new trend, people trying too hard to add an explanation point to their sandwiches, less is more, if precisely prepared. Their banana bread, with chocolate, which was vegan, was absolutely a home run. Took a few slices to go and the agreement was, not too sweet, just the right moisture and texture around the edges .
The staff are low key, attentive and made great recommendations. If you are in Newport Beach and looking for casual delicious wholesome food, this is a spot very much worth stopping in for a bite. Did not try to the coffee, but they had a nice set up and prices that were reasonable in comparison to what I have seen in Los Angeles for the same drink. The basics, cortado, flat white, espresso shots, latte, cappuccino etc etc...“

“After our quick flight we were looking for a spot to grab coffee and a bite before a show at the Segerstrom Center. Most of the nearby recs on Reddit were super upscale—not really our vibe. We’re into the arts, sure, but we’re also lowkey and prefer somewhere relaxed. So glad we found Hola Adios. The coffee hit the spot, the breakfast burritos were delicious, and the chill, youthful energy of the place made us feel right at home. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area and want good food without the fuss.“

“Food was delicious! We ordered crab toast, shrimp fried rice, pork belly rice bowl, curry crab omelette. It was a super busy Saturday lunchtime, above average noise level and food took a little time. I told our server, Brandon, that my son cannot eat anything spicy. I didn't notice when our food came out that my son's fried rice had chili flakes on top. Brandon checked up on us and immediately saw this. He apologized and tool the food back to the kitchen. It was given priority and it did not long to come out. I appreciate his concern and good service.“

“A nice small café with a boutique attached. It felt to me like an original breakfast place with unique menu items.

Your order at the counter where you can also see the daily specials, and then you sit where you want.

The food actually came pretty fast.
The hot chocolate was nice - it wasn’t too thick and didn’t seem over sweet. The foam was actually nice to have!
There is an effort in presentation as you can see from the pictures.
We all liked it. I tried a bit of the swedish pancakes, it is very sweet and heavy as you can expect, but enjoyable!
The Eggs Anna were definitely original with that sauce. It was very interesting. I’m not gonna say it’s the best thing I ever had, but it was good.

It was farmers’ market, but we didn’t struggle to find a place to sit.
For parking, you need to find in the city - but, the place is not far from the main areas, so convenient. You just walk a few blocks.

Pro tip: you can get the assam milk tea with no ice for no extra charge. But I typically do light ice. Plenty of parking.“
