“I think this place is great! The lady up front was very sweet and helped me get what I wanted; a Buffalo Grilled Cheese! It was on Texas toast and was HUGE. The fries were delicious and the grilled cheese was cheesy and not lacking on chicken! My only knock on the sandwich is that it could've used some more buffalo sauce, but that might be a personal preference. Overall, a wonderful time there. Complements to the staff!“

“My husband was in a business dinner and they walked some of gaslamp afterwards. After they parted ways, he needed to use the bathroom so he ran in the closest restaurant. They said he couldn't use it unless he was a customer. I totally get that but they were packed out so it made no sense.... Either way, he bought a chicken quesadilla to go. He brought it back to the room for me and our sons to have. It tasted good...until my youngest son spit out a piece of plastic he found inside the quesadilla. My Husband called about it the next day bc they were then closed. Their response was "oops sorry" like wth?! They then said "bring it back along with the plastic." No mention of a refund or investigation of how it happened. And by that point, room service had come and took the box of the rest of the food plus no one wanted to fight downtown traffic and pay to park to have them possibly offer us another quesadilla . 🙄 Again the food we did eat, minus the plastic, was good but the service wasn't.“

“Visiting family from the East Coast and my daughter took me here today. I was stationed in Daegu South Korea for 2 years while in the Army. we used to get bb.q chicken almost every weekend. The kids loved it and so did I. This was my first time having it in 8 years and it immediately brought me back to being in Daegu. The food was amazing and brought us right back to being there. I highly recommend you check them out, you won't regret it!“

“We have been HUGE a huge fan of a local crawfish restaurant for as long as they have been open, and have gone frequently over the years. Recently we have been looking to try some of the other crawfish places around. Not only did the Boxing Crab have flavorful sauces to choose from, top quality freshness, the best cooked crawfish we have had in a restaurant, (even better than our regular spot), and their service was wonderful! We now have a new GoTo! We will recommend them again and again!“

“Dining in today at Thai Time proved relaxing and the mock chicken Panang dish on the lunch menu would be my recommendation.Loaded with lots of bell pepper and some pineapple, I opt for the mild level of spicy. Just remembering back in the days when the Crime Lab and Sheriff’s Records were across the street at Mt. Etna. They could use more foot traffic, now that public services with the County of San Diego relocated and business in the area has been marginalized! They ran out of catfish at the days end today otherwise, It would have been my 2nd consecutive order. We got takeout and our car would not start in the parking lot. He helped jump start our car on his break and we were able to go, no problem! “I initially wanted to go to Gong Cha but it was too far away from my location. I'm glad that this was the case because I ended up finding this gem of a place. The spot has a chill vibe and it's set up for you to hang out with a few small games and old magazines. In the background, they had old/retro video game music playing, like from Final Fantasy and other popular games, that added to the ambience. Also, this is only my second time being to a bubble tea shop but unlike Gong Cha, they have food here as well which was a plus. Furthermore, the owner is friendly. Definitely recommend.“

“It was my first time coming to this location. When I walked in, I noticed a guy picking up his order and going through the bag like he was on a mission, checking every single item.

In my head, I thought, “Relax, man, it’s not that serious.”

I got my wings, headed to my car, and decided to sneak a few fries before they got cold. That’s when I realized… no ranch.

I dumped the whole bag hoping it was just hiding. Nope. No ranch to be found.
I was happy I found out before I drove off. Imagine what a nightmare that would have been--hot honey rub wings with no ranch. That's like Batman with no Robin. Mario with no Luigi...you get the point. I went back inside the store and got my ranch.

“Favorite place to eat Korean fried chicken in San Diego on Mondays and Tuesdays for their $1 wings dine in deal. The deal is up to 12 wings per person which is great because after 6 wings - dipped heavily in ranch sauce - I'm full. Deal doesn't come with any sides like radish or rice and costs extra.

My go to spicy wing sauce is yangnyeom. The Littles (who normally don't like very seasoned or saucy things) surprisingly liked the 3 non spicy flavors.

Bulgolgi fries is overall crispy and tasty but has little Bulgolgi in it.

Japchae was underwhelming.

Parking sucks but it never takes me more than 2 minutes to find parking.

I've never had to wait for seating but I've seen that wait times can be from 30 minutes - 1 hour at peak times or with large parties.

Service so far has been slow because they have a full restaurant. Easier to ask for anything you need at the bar (napkins, utensils, water refills, the check). It also sucks when the server is clearly sick and coughing and handling your food.“
