“Traveling to SD for work. Decided to order Dave’s in so I can watch the nba finals in my room. First time experience. Pleasantly good. Combo chicken tender, sandwich with slaw and side of fries. The spices was just right and that Dave’s sauce was on point. Please open one in Pensacola.“

“Good little fry shop! The fries weren’t greasy at all, which was a nice surprise. We ordered the mix-and-match with regular fries and sweet potato fries.
The sweet potato fries were the highlight—they were crispy, flavorful, and really delicious. The regular fries were decent, but nothing particularly memorable.
The ordering process is simple: you place your order on a large touchscreen kiosk and wait for your number to be called. Service was quick, although I imagine it could take a little longer during busier times. We visited in the evening, and there wasn’t much of a line.
Overall, it’s a great spot if you’re in the mood for fries while walking around. I’d definitely come back and try it again.“

“I’m just going to say it: the Sweet Country Blues Sandwich at Rise Southern Biscuits in El Cajon is the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had.
A sweet blueberry biscuit, savory sausage, American cheese and a fried egg. That combination sounds simple, but it is ridiculously good. The blueberry biscuit is sweet, buttery and soft, and that sweetness against the salty sausage, melted cheese and fried egg is absolutely perfect.
This is one of those rare things you order that halfway through eating it, you’re already thinking about when you can come back and get another one.
My advice? Skip everything else on the menu and get this. Don’t overthink it. Get the Sweet Country Blues Sandwich and you’ll thank me later.“

“I love crack shack. I was born n raised in San Diego but moved to Memphis where I learned what good fried chicken is. This is the fried chicken spot in Southern California. Fire nugs+fries+pickles you can not go wrong. The bar tender is really awesome and the food is seasoned perfectly. Really good desserts as well.“

“This place serves 85 years of proven deliciousness. It is simple. It is hearty. These days, it is even out of the ordinary. Just go. You will be glad that you did. If you are like me, you’ll remember how Mom would heat the oven to 450 degrees and place the block of ice Hungry Man pot pie in the oven for one hour till it transformed into a cauldron of molten lava. My mother would even crack open the hood of the pie and load it with an extra cup of frozen peas and carrots that would cook to perfection in the heavenly inferno of scrumptious delight, which made me the muscular hunk of love that I am today. The San Diego Chicken Pie Shop serves up a pie that is an even better recipe than the one in my memories of my dear Mom. If your are nearby, give it a try.“

“The clerk was a nice guy but not keen on the obvious. I ordered a 15 piece wing combo and he asked if that was for here or to go. Who would dine in and eat 15 wings by himself? Chuckled all the way home. Poor guy.“

“Ok so this place stays busy but they move fast. I recommend downloading the app and collecting points. You can also order ahead. My go to is the egg white grilled chicken breakfast sandwich and add tomato and pickle!!! Ask for hot sauce packets too. One of my favorite healthy breakfast sandwiches. It’s so good!! The staff is always extra friendly.“

“Drive thru for the famous chicken sandwich. Long wait, excellent sandwich. Lots of crunch and good flavors, but not salty. And the pickles, whoa. Finally got my chicken sandwich after 2 weeks of trying. Long lines that backed up into streets, even freeways, getting there hours too early. That’s a great sandwich.“

“I came in sick, congested, and fighting for my life. One bite of this spicy chicken and suddenly my sinuses opened like the gates of heaven. I’m pretty sure I saw colors brighter than before.
DayQuil? NyQuil? Nah. This chicken cleared me out faster than modern medicine ever could. I was sweating, crying, coughing, and ascending spiritually all at once.
10/10. Not sure if it cured my cold or just bullied it into leaving.“

“Zulyma was the hero! Just watching her work the counter was impressive. I had a mishap with my online order vs the kiosk and although she had to call for help, she was fabulous!! Please make sure Zulyma knows she is appreciated and give her employee of the month, she deserves it!“

“I don't know what it is about this particular location, but the food here is the best. I went to the East County location, and the food was no where close to the food here. Same exact order, but totally different. I'll keep coming to this one.“
“They sell Turkey Legs at a stand by the Shipwreck Reef Cafe but the one I got was another stand near the entrance by the Dryer Ice Cream Parlor. The turkey leg was 17.99 plus tax and was huge. Haven't had one in awhile and forgotten how much tendons they had, but it was hot (I asked for one still inside their warmer vs the display case), juicy and delicious.“
