“I can only speak for thr torta. Its in costa mesa so dont expect it to taste authentic mexican. But i believe their target audience is for white people that want mexican food. All good tho. Salsa roja not spicy. They also sell hamburgers. I mean service is great and its not crowded. If you want mexican food 4 stars. If you want mexican americanized food 5 stars. YT: The Nava Tribe“

“this is probably the best taco truck I've been to in OC! Friendly service by Rodolfo and his wife always, the salsas are amazing (esp the avocado salsa), and the prices are reasonable! A hidden gem, definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area.“

“I've been to my share of food trucks in my day. Recently, this truck started posting up near my work at the corner of 17th street and Santa Ana Ave. After seeing half our staff constantly stuffing their faces with delicious looking Mexican food, I decided to give it a whirl! They offer a variety of menu items that all look delicious. My coworker swears by the quesadilla that looked stuffed with carne asada! I've only got the tacos and don't see the need to venture any further as I'm so happy every time I get them! The Al Pastor is the best I've had EVER! Tacos are better than any brick and mortor place in town! The salsa is really where it's at! Can thank you guys enough for parking next to our place! A must try!!!“

Tacos De Carnitas

“I'm a picky eater and like eating food prepared by the proprietar. No one cares more about customer experience than the owner: food quality, reasonable price and serving size, flavor, freshness, texture, and cleanliness. The owner and his wife excelled in all the above expectations and one more unexpected plus.Unlike many other taco trucks, they have barely raised prices over the past couple of years. I mentioned this while waiting for my order, and she shared that they decided to keep prices down for their customers because so many are struggling financially in this failing economy.Go out of your way if you can to support this taco truck. We need more good small businesses like this who care about their customers. And best of all, you will get amazing food !“

“In the area and wanted to look for food to go after visiting Road Runner (across the street). So I yelped inexpensive take out (since I just spent $$$ for kids shoes) that was good yet affordable. This was listed as one of the suggested places. Went in, not know what I'm gonna order. Luckily I know empanadas, but wow, they have a variety that I never see beyond the traditional. They have from chicken, beef, pizza, Philly cheese steak, etc. I ordered 3 beef and one Philly. Side of fries is seasoned and really good. The beef has a good amount of filling. Strong on the olives for sure. I ate two of them. Lol. It was good. The place is small but it's for take out only. They have a hot display case of already made empanadas to choose from. Also, there is a fridge for Take & Bake option as well. There is a smaller fridge for day old empanadas that are sold for a lesser price. Can't go wrong with 4/$8 day meat and savory pies. Ill come back again when in the area.“
