I used to get Taiyaki down in Torrance CA. I could not find any better locations in the general SGV area, or I.E. I'm so glad to have found a legitimate Taiyaki place!!
Textures are just perfect. Fillings are just right. It's delicious eaten fresh, and eaten later.
Most definitely will be returning for more.

Not only were my selections from the lunch menu perfect and delicious, but received excellent customer service from beginning to end. “Shau May is literally a part of my childhood! I've grown up on shau may food my whole life. They're one of the only places that will give you so much quality food for such cheap prices. We get these two boxes absolutely stuffed with food for only $19. Just get the 3 entree + soup combo. With so many restaurants raising their prices over the last few years, the bang for your buck you get at Shau May is one in a million!“
