“So happy The A is now vegetarian and vegan friendly!
Stopped in looking for a milkshake, and when I saw they had a root beer shake (my favorite) that was an instant yes. Hadn’t visited before since the menu wasn’t updated on here and so I thought they didn’t have any veggie options - but that’s changed since they re-opened last year. They now have a fully vegan burger option (with homemade 1000 Island dressing from the famous Vegan Korner located in Grand Terrace, CA) AND the option to sub an Impossible patty on any of their other burgers. They also now offer zucchini fries, too!
It’s a little spendy for the Impossible patty substitution ($5.99), but that seems to be the case in a lot of places. I am just stoked that they even offer it as an option now. I will report back when I have a chance to try it - glad I stopped by, will definitely be back!
P.S. The root beer shake was GREAT!“

“In & Outs remind of an a 50s hangout spot. Where teens would go hang out ..reminds me of tht movie Grease. Love the environment. & I also come here for their ICE ..im an ice eater & jus LOOOVE their ice..I would make trips for a an Xtra large drink just to fill it up w ICE. They have this type of chewable ice in san bernardino. I wish all their spots had this type of ice“

“This place is bomb. A coworker recommended it. I walked in and told the girl in line behind us to go ahead because we had never been there before. She said me either! And we all laughed about that. This place is cool tho. Laid back vibe, friendly employees. The burger…probably the best I have ever had, no joke. This is exactly how I like them. A real smash burger with crispy edges. Double was $8 and it comes with grilled onion, bacon, cheese, sauce and you can add a lot of other stuff. Fries were perfect, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and good seasoning. When we left we said thanks and the guy in the back said “hey see you guys tomorrow?” I was like…yeah lol…cause he might. If not tomorrow we will for sure be back very soon. Give this place a chance, you won’t be sorry.“

“If you never been to John’s burger, I really recommend you come and check them out. Great customer service great freaking burgers. “OK, I have lived away from Fontana for many years graduated in 1962 from FOHI .... anyway, forever, wherever I go I try to find a Peppi's pastrami sub sandwich that equals to the original Peppi's of years ago quality and taste!!! CAN'T FIND, NOPE CAN NOT FIND ONE!!!! I DREAM ABOUT FINDING ONE OR BEING BACK IN FONTANA AND BEING ABLE TO GET ONE OF THOSE YESTERYEAR SANDWICHES!!!!“

“The Blue Jay blue cheese burger at Spade and Spatula is amazing (wagyu beef patty, gorgonzola crumble, balsamic glaze, candied bacon, garlic aioli, lettuce, tomato). Wagyu beef comes from Japanese cows that are fed a special diet. The beef is a different color from regular hamburger meat, and it tastes much different and much better. My waitress Isca was dressed as Krampus, the horned being that travels with St. Nick to deal with the not so nice children. Spade and Spatula has wonderful food and great service.“

“My visit to Maiz Cafe was such a great experience. The staff was welcoming, checked in on us throughout our meal, and made us feel right at home. I tried a fresh made-to-order pineapple and watermelon agua fresca. It was refreshing and the sooo sweet. The surf and turf bowl was hearty, with tender steak and juicy shrimp. The asada omelette was stuffed with well-seasoned meat. We also had the chocolate chip pancake, which was super fluffy and a great side for my breakfast craving.
One of my favorite parts of the meal was trying the house-made salsas. The habanero definitely stole first place for me with its bold flavor and spicy kick. The atmosphere was casual and comfortable, making it a spot where you can either enjoy a relaxed brunch or grab something quickly through the drive-thru.
Overall, Maiz Cafe is a great brunch place to recommend, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit.“

“Skip the dominos next door and enjoy a real pizza from Osorio’s! Excellent flavor and freshness. We had a delicious half pepperoni, half veggie pizza, garlic knots, and buffalo wings. I was also very happy that our order of garlic knots came with a small soda cup full of marinara. Some places really skimp on that, but not here. Recommended!“
“Nice restaurant that deserves more recognition. I’ve been meaning to give this place a visit and I’m glad I did. The burger and fries were good but could use a unique twist, and the price was fitting. The strawberry lemonade was tasty too. The staff were really kind and polite. Would visit again! “came into this restaurant because I had never been here, walked in and ordered a cheeseburger combo, the gentleman taking my order was very respectful and even accommodated my request of 1000 island sauce. Great prices, good food, and great atmosphere. Seems to be a nice family owned spot and its great. 10 out of 10 definitely coming here again.“

“First time coming here, we order a bacon, burger, chicken sandwich, combos, and some chili cheese fries I love the chili cheese fries they were fire. Customer service was on point and I love the atmosphere very warming. Chicken sandwich was good. Love the fries golden brown crispy but I’m sorry I’m gonna have to pass on the hamburger. I don’t know what kind of sauce they put on it but I did not like it plus the bread was not toasted it was mid but anyways, that’s just my opinion. Come check it out yourself here in the city of San Bernardino.“

“I recomend I order pulled pork nachos they did come out cold but the beers on tap were ice cold. and the bartenders raquel n luis were great bartenders with excellent customer service skills. I did however inquire about thier rewards program and luis explain to me that right now the rewards program was messed up and it couldnt get points because I never use a card here beforem. no worries septembers get that's fixed tho“

“Burgers are fatty and juicy, a tad bit greasy (which I love), and caramelized extremely well on a flat top, so you get a delicious burst of meaty flavor. While the patty itself is not paper thin, it's smooshed enough that it gets a crispy and crunchy edge“

Why some fast food kitchens put yellow mustard on burgers is beyond me, shocking! lol. Carl's sauce is great.
Mustard is important for hot dogs and links though, I admit 🌞.

“The manager Brittany was so warm and welcoming! She was out on the floor, checking on everyone, getting refills, people’s orders, and cleaning up plates and cups! She’s one of the only mangers I’ve ever seen out on the floor helping when I visit ! My boyfriend had some questions because we just found out I’m pregnant, and he was being cautious and she made him feel like his questions weren’t dumb and she reassured us !!“

“It was a pleasant dining experience I had just gotten off work and I was tired. My server was patient and allowed me ample time to look over the menu and the service was prompt. Server was also very friendly and warm. I would definitely come again when I'm in the mood for pancakes and good service.“
“One of my favorite places to haul for. My company has a contract with them and anytime I see them on my dispatch info I’m a happy man. Friendly employees, preloaded trailers, clean restrooms. Even when the trailers aren’t preloaded it takes them an hour max to load them. Every store I’ve delivered to also unloads me within the hour, and they always have coffee brewed. Overall, a fantastic company.

“I was JUST here and it was so epic! Angela was so nice/Angie she helped us with our meal, and was very talkative and fun to talk to. She was very hardworking to keep the place neat. “Service was quick. You have an extensive menu to satisfy your appetite. As soon as you bite down on your burger, you get the smell and taste of delicious thousand island! The hamburgers are well done and tasty. I got some chili cheese fries as well, which were not to my liking. The chili was sweet, the cheese ratio was good, and fries were good. Both crunchy and those soft wiggly ones which are good. The pastrami sandwich was packed and had good flavor. The pastrami itself wasn't chewy and recommend it.“

“Oh my god that food was like having a party in my mouth. Best hamburger I've ever had. The bacon. Cheeseburger had thick pieces of bacon on it. The smell by itself was wonderful. I also had fried zucchini. I don't think I'm overstateing how good and fresh the food was. I'd eat there again today. They have a wide variety of good Mexican and American. They even have a drive through. A must try place to eat.😋“

“I had a great experience at the Carl’s Jr. in Rialto around 10:15 AM, and I have to give major credit to Laura. Her warm hospitality truly stood out—she was kind, attentive, and made me feel genuinely welcomed. She even offered to brew a fresh pot of coffee just for me, which I really appreciated. Despite handling both the dining room and drive-thru, she stayed calm, professional, and friendly the entire time. The restaurant was clean and well-kept, and Laura’s work ethic and kindness made my visit memorable. She’s a real gem!“
