“It’s not too often that I stop at a Michoacana store, but this location somehow always manages to serve everything with a positive and enthusiastic attitude everytime I stop by to buy something! Most stores usually have little to not much variety, but this location always has something in store for everyone! It has flavors for ice cream that other locations don’t seem to have. They always try to introduce something new and refreshing that anyone can and will enjoy! Whenever I have entered this store, they always have fresh corn for an esquite or fresh fruit for hot summer days. If you’re looking for something fresh and tasty to eat, while being served by enthusiastic employees, I HIGHLY recommend visiting this store! It’s a must!!“

“Place is amazing. I love the different options each week and that makes you want to come more often. My go-to choice is the Snickerdoodle. This place has the best tasting cookie anywhere. Be warned though that the parking lot next to Crumbl is a pain! To avoid the headache I’d park in the Target parking lot next to the center and walk.“

“My husband and I went to Thailand in 2019 where I first got to try Roti Sai Mai. It is my FAVORITE thing I have EVER eaten. We come back to the states, and I can't figure out how to get it, how to make it...I can pretty much make anything we've eaten if I can find the ingredients and recipe. NO LUCK. I've even had a friend who was visiting Thailand, bring me some back in 2021. My husband surprised me with 3 bags of roti sai mai from this shop and it is EXACTLY the same we had in Thailand. “Such a cozy and a must need desert spot classic in Alhambra. Light and mellow yet satisfying beautifully put together deserts. Huge wide range of options, from classic comforting desert soups, to mochi deserts. We ordered the mango mochi, the mango pancake, ginger soup, and the mango roll. All were unique and really put together deserts. Definitely recommend to try out! Really nice atmosphere and homey interior decor, and affordable prices.“

“As others have said, don’t let this inconspicuous shop fool you. These mochi have incredible flavor and texture, and while they are a few dollars a piece, I think hand crafted sweets deserve a little support, no?

The person that helped me was friendly and explained the various flavors so I could fill a 10pc box with a variety. My favorites were the pink mochi and imo manju. Bring cash!“

“I absolutely love coming here for funnel cakes! My favorite is the Strawberry Sundae, with fresh strawberries and a scoop of creamy vanilla ice cream on top—it is just heavenly. The portions are large, so I usually share with friends since it is hard to finish alone. Next time, I am excited to try one of the chocolate options.

I had the dulce de leche first and it was amazing and the freddo expresso transported me back to Greece. Not everone gets it on point. “I was introduced to La Michoacana about a year ago and I’ve been going back ever since. I’m always greeted with a smile and the selection is amazing. My favorite is the Mangoneada. This place always has parking, is clean and there’s always a table to sit and enjoy.“

“Great food. Funnel cakes. Churros. All fire. They have everything fresh and fresh made. Their ingridients are high quality from mexico. Very good. I tried the churros two days back to back couldn't get enough because it tasted so healthy. Not so sugary even tho it has strawberry syrup and lechera and all that surgery stuff. It was great. You can asd has fruits like Mango,strawberries,blueberries,banana to your churros and funnel cakes and ice cream as well all delicious . I would recommend anyone trying to hit a churro spot that taste like organic right here. Fire. It's not vegan tho. It just fesh products with less processing stuff really top notch high quality. “As a Vietnamese person, che is something that reminds you of childhood. Dont get me wrong though, there was no nostalgia in assessing how amazing the che’s were. My wife who is not Vietnamese also was incredibly happy.

We bought the special and the avocado Che. I literally couldn’t have been happier. We got it to go and they gave us ice with them to fill later. The ice is perfect size for the Che.

The palm sugar cake has great chewiness and is not too sweet, also for the price it can’t be beat. If you are into the chewiness of mochi, then this will be enjoyable for you as well!“

So I was wandering with no destination in mind and I come across the Sweet Box kiosk. So freaking cute!!! This place is NOT cheap and being that the macarons were so cute, I figured they only looked good but didn't hold much weight in the flavor department. I was wrong. I enjoy macarons on rare occasions because they are usually too sweet. However, Sweet Box did a great job with the balance of sweetness, chewiness, and presentation. I would definitely recommend this place to others. After bringing them home and trying them, I was thinking of who's bday was coming up so I could buy them some. Out of the dozen I bought, the Earl Grey was my favorite. The Strawberry was good as well as it had a real fruit flavor to it. Piece of advise. Don't let them sit in your car or in a warm area as the filling will melt. I learned the hard way. I still ate all of them though. The service was good but I did feel a little rushed. “We recently ordered two boba drinks from Bobuzz, including their signature “PMC” with boba and “The Dark White.” While the overall flavor of the drinks was comparable to other quality boba shops, the tapioca pearls (“boba”) were unfortunately undercooked, which detracted from the experience. Additionally, offering customers the option to customize the sweetness level would be a welcome improvement. While there is potential, the overall experience left us with mixed feelings. Personally, it wouldn’t be my first choice for a dessert stop after a pleasant meal, at least not for now.“

This shop is clean, cutesy and is family owned and I was helped by the owner's mom, she's super nice lady, the owner makes all the cakes.
