“Today I discovered the curry shrimp. It was awesome! It might be my new favorite! My husband enjoyed the Curry Goat. We also got some patties for later. We had enough on our plates to have leftovers! That means we will get to enjoy our food again.“

“You see the pictures bro put up with the empty plate. Yep that pretty much sums up the food right there. I had pictures, but then I started crying cause they looked so good and dropped my phone and accidentally deleted them off my phone. But yea, definitely recommend the Belizian tamale, yes it has the full bone iykyk 🍗“

“My fiancé and I absolutely love this place! Every time we come in the area we drive 3 1/2 hours and this is our first stop every time! We were recently in town and we ate here twice between two days. The food is always consistent and so flavorful! It may look like a hole in the wall, but it is the best food around!“

Joan & Sisters | Belizean & American Food is a hidden gem that delivers incredible flavor and a truly unique dining experience. The Belizean dishes are rich, authentic, and full of depth, while the American options are just as satisfying and well-prepared.
Every dish tasted fresh and homemade, with generous portions and great attention to seasoning. You can really tell the food is made with care and tradition behind it.
The staff was warm, welcoming, and made the experience feel personal and comfortable. If you’re looking for something different from the usual fast-casual spots, this place is absolutely worth a visit. Highly recommended.“

“Best Dominican food in LA. And it’s actually good. Highly recommend all of it. The empanadas, pernil, sancochó, rice and beans, chimi, salchichón, picadera plate, habichuela dulce, camarones, all of it. And she gets her stuff from DR because it’s so difficult to find things like Dominican salami and fried cheese. Support this local, extremely rare gem so we don’t lose it. It’s so difficult to find anything like this in the west coast.“

“I absolutely adore the owner, Ms. Grace. A couple of years back I discovered this gem. Every single time that I visit L.A. I now make it a priority to stop in. You can’t go wrong with any of their made fresh daily menu items. Religiously, before I fly out from LAX I stop in to pick up the best food made with some much love. This place hails a special place in my heart and my belly!“

The staff that took our order was kind, friendly, and very helpful. What an awesome and very clean establishment.

“I also loved the diversity of people in the restaurant. So many different cultures coming to share a meal. Good food brings people together. Parking is difficult but you'll find it. If you're lucky, you'll see the house with the cats and chickens“

“It’s real deal jerk chicken! Perfectly marinated, seasoned and grilled Smokey flavor; crisp skin, tender and juicy. Escovich fish was also authentic: a whole fish freshly fried with tangy and spicy vinegar, onion and scotch bonnet sauce. The oxtails were a miss for me; a bit on the sweet side.“

“I just ate here for my birthday on Saturday. I have been to Belize and this food took me right back there. The owner Leslie, is from Belize and is very friendly and attentive, as his the staff. Phenomenal food, and large portions. Get the sampler platter for your appetizer, you won't be disappointed. I highly recommend this restaurant. If you are ever in Gardena, you should stop here. Gardena Cinema is a few blocks away, and is also fantastic. The restaurant closes at 7pm, and most shows start at 7:30, so it makes for the perfect evening.“

“She is always a nice person . Food is decent but portions are a little small as far as meat is concerned . Being from the east coast we have plenty of island cuisine . And it feels good to get some in Inglewood. All she has to do is offer a bigger selection of food . Normally it's just one Jamaican dish to choose from and bean pies and the normal soups and American food . All are great. Just wish she had a bigger variety“

“Great atmosphere, great staff, polite, humble, respectful, great food 🥑🥝 and if you want to go next door for some Snoop Dogg clothing, and store, right next door
But that's not the best thing about this particular business establishment, it's open at 8;00 am like know other businesses that are similar.... that itself is a plus
But don't take my word for it...try it yourself, and take some friends and family 🙏🏾🙏🏿🙏🏼🙏🏽🙏🦾🦾🦾“

“Excellent Tamales. We ordered 9 dz, including the Snow Crab and Nica special orders. Everyone was enthused with the flavors. The beans, rice and 2 salsas complimented well. All of my previous take out orders were equally delicious. Many of our guests are tamale fans. TAMARA WAS OUTSTANDING...“

“recently stopped by Lee’s Caribbean Restaurant in Inglewood and really enjoyed the experience. The vibe is welcoming and laid-back — perfect for something casual but still feel like a solid meal out. Staff were friendly and helpful from the moment I walked in.
We ordered a variety of dishes and every one tasted fresh and flavorful. The jerk chicken had a nice kick, the rice and peas were well seasoned, and the portions were generous. The sides were cooked right, and the overall meal felt like real, home-cooked Caribbean comfort. Drinks complemented the food well — good value and nice flavor.
If you’re in Inglewood and craving Caribbean food that hits the spot without fuss, Lee’s is worth a visit. Solid flavors, friendly service, and a chill vibe — I’ll definitely go back.“
