“This was my first time at Tev's and I will make it my regular spot. The food was delicious. I had the chicken wings, mac and cheese, the garlic mash potatoes and cabbage, I also got the ribeye strips plus you get a free drink. The portions are generous, you can't beat the price. It was my Juneteen Day treat, I ordered online which was very easy.“

“I just ate here for my birthday on Saturday. I have been to Belize and this food took me right back there. The owner Leslie, is from Belize and is very friendly and attentive, as his the staff. Phenomenal food, and large portions. Get the sampler platter for your appetizer, you won't be disappointed. I highly recommend this restaurant. If you are ever in Gardena, you should stop here. Gardena Cinema is a few blocks away, and is also fantastic. The restaurant closes at 7pm, and most shows start at 7:30, so it makes for the perfect evening.“

And it feels good to get some in Inglewood. All she has to do is offer a bigger selection of food . “It’s real deal jerk chicken! Perfectly marinated, seasoned and grilled Smokey flavor; crisp skin, tender and juicy. Escovich fish was also authentic: a whole fish freshly fried with tangy and spicy vinegar, onion and scotch bonnet sauce. The oxtails were a miss for me; a bit on the sweet side.“

“Excellent food at this small, stand-alone Belizean/Caribbean hybrid, colorfully painted and sitting at the corner of a South L.A. street corner. I ordered the fish fry (with red snapper), with the mac 'n cheese and an order of fry jack. I also ordered a side of oxtail, and a couple of Belizean panades. Everything was delicious!! No doubt, the cooks know what they're doing here. The fish was well-seasoned and perfectly fried. It went well with the piping hot fry jack. And, the mac 'n cheese was unusually tasty. Penne pasta was substituted for the conventional elbow macaroni, and the cheese sauce--while slightly on the thin side--was incredibly delicious! The oxtail was very rich and tasty, as well, fork tender and extremely flavorful. And, finally, I loved the panades. They resembled long and thin empanadas, and they were stuffed with flaky fish, and served with a side of pickled onions. So good! And, this restaurant is women-owned (and run), and is also a family affair--consisting of mother, daughter and even cousins running around in the back. I believe in supporting businesses like this--women-owned and hardworking, kind people serving their community with affordable prices and supremely delicious food!“

“Came here kinda randomly and I’m honestly glad I did. The jerk chicken had that perfect smoky spice, tender inside with just the right kick on the outside. The rice and peas were super flavorful and actually tasted like they were cooked with care, not just a side thrown on the plate. Portions were big, so I was full way before I even finished everything. The staff was friendly and had a chill attitude that made the place feel welcoming. My food was great the server suggested I try the j*** salmon with fried rice and cabbage excellent choice. He also mention Patties which I never had before wow they were good.
