I stopped by Panera Bread at my office building downtown LA about a week ago, and I was happy with my lunch experience. The staff were friendly and efficient, getting me through on their speedy service during what can get chaotic around 12 pm. However, my sandwich was slightly overcooked, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, it's a solid choice for a quick bite, but not the best quality I've had in LA.
I've been here before and was disappointed last time, but today's visit redeemed it for me. I stopped by around 7am on a Sunday to grab a quick breakfast sandwich - the turkey club was still warm from the oven when I picked it up, which is more than I can say for my usual morning routine. The staff were friendly and efficient, getting me in and out of the cafe before work started. Great coffee too, will definitely be back.
