“As a Persian American, I am so glad I found this place. It offers something I’ve been wishing for my whole life, modernized Persian food. Traditional is unbeatable, but I’ve always wondered what it would be like if people took those recipes and updated them. Azizam offers that. I came specially for the kuku sandwich and it was excellent, simple and very fresh. Same with the shallot yoghurt and Kipteh. We also tried the secanjaben spritz which if you like those flavors you will love. I really love this whole concept and would love to see more dishes! The ambience is friendly and warm. Highly recommend.“

Sogol's plate is a great business run by great women and I would definitely recommend their to-go orders for busy students as the ordering and pick-up process were super easy. I ordered the Kotlet sandwich and it was super flavorful. You will not be disappointed and the portions were quite filling. Can't wait to order more amazing meals in the future!“

“I'm at a loss for words, but I'll try my best. Food? Amazing! Perfect amount of seasoning and the portions are huge! And this is coming from a big dude. For the appetizers, my favorites were the Kashk E'bademjan (Eggplant Delight), Potato Salad, and the Hummus! They have more selections, but this is what I was able to try. I hear all are great! For the Entrees, ALL OF THEIR KABOBS ARE FIRE (MMM MMMM YUMMY). I had a sample of most them and in the islands, we would say "broke da mouf kine", which translates to, the food is *beep beep* GOOD! If you've never had Persian Food, or you love it, this is the restaurant for you! Drinks? I love Korean Soju and Cass beer, so yeah, +10 points from me. They do carry various Wines and Beers though...and of course your choice of Soda Pop. Atmosphere? It' gives you a Kewl Kids Vibe; a classy place where you can be yourself with family and friends and just enjoy each others company. You have your choice of Indoor and Outdoor dinning which is amazing. There's also a private room upstairs that can hold 20 people for a meal and karaoke (there is a fee to reserve, but very much worth it). Staff? We were greeted at the door as if we were coming home. Pasha and his staff go above and beyond to make sure all your needs are met. Their suggestions on meal and drink pairings are spot on. I can't thank Pasha and the crew for making our group outing a success. Overall? I'll be going back and I hope that you add this restaurant to your list of 'go to' places to dine at. You will not be disappointed, I promise you. (Unless your attitude stinks or you're not willing to try new food ‍) Pasha again, thank you so much for the hospitality. “Taste of Tehran was my first time eating at a restaurant in Tehrangeles, and it was an awesome choice. This was definitely one of the best Middle Eastern restaurants I've been to in LA. Everything was so great. And yes, I ate a lot of food on the first day here. I started off with some of the stews that included gormeh sabzi, the gheyme, and ash reshteh, which were all very tasty. The surprise hit to me was the Lentil Quinoa Salad. Seriously, one of the best salads I've ever had. It was sweet, refreshing, and savory all at the same time. No words to describe. And then the meats: the koobideh and soltani plate, just fabulous, along with that lentil rice. I can honestly say that Persians make the best rice out of all Middle Eastern countries! Even the barberry rice was amazing. Never had a rice this sweet and fruity before! Overall, an amazing experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Don't be fooled by the looks of this place. It looks like a quick, over the counter order type of restaurant, but the food is top notch. Even Anthony Bourdain has been here! “The owner is one of a kind, not only is the food the best quality and Persian cuisine in westwood, but the owners attentiveness to detail is also extraordinary. The workers and owner have never missed a detail in any of my orders while always being diligent regarding the timing of my take out orders. My favorite is the sangak pizza and juicy chicken kabob. Can’t go wrong with those. I only do take out so I’ve never dined in but the sauces they offer for the salad and pizza are also great. Definitely try them out for your next dine in or takeout experience.

Also, the owner waited for me to pick up my order after closing time since I was running late. Really the best.“

“The outside look of this restaurant does not represent the Inside. Very lovely décor inside. Lunch was pretty busy but service is great. Food does not take long.
I had Ghormeh Sabzi. The stew as its described, is different from my understanding. Basically had one type of herb and meat plus the sauce. The sauce taste very strong. I cannot describe the flavor.
The prices are not bad. Very reasonable.
Stick with the Kabobs.“

“The wine bar you wish you could stumble upon every night! Great Persian food- you can tell they use fresh farmers market produce. And arguably the best natural wine list in town. This spot is a real gem. Get the Nazkhatoun (eggplant dip) w/ feta, Ghormeh Sabzi or the Fesenjan - both delicious stews. And their tarts for dessert are excellent.

Vegetarian options: Nazkhatoun (eggplant dip) w/ feta, Ghormeh Sabzi, shallot dip, Shirazi salad (cherry tomatoes and cucumber), cucumber dip

I was searching my app for an affordable mediterranean spot and this place came out so I gave it a try. I thought their food was good because it had a good rating online and their food looked good in the pictures but I was wrong because their food wasn't good, it was actually super great! The cashier, manager, and server were super nice and attentive and it costed me about almost only $30 for two skewers, salad, and hummus.“

“Everything was FRESH and FRESHLY- MADE, TASTY, and DELICIOUS at Sherman Oaks Kabob Village. Even the pita bread is made fresh from scratch. Nothing is pre-cooked, processed, or from packages. It was a bit of a wait (20 minutes), but it's worth having everything cooked while you are there. The spiced tea is freshly-brewed and wonderful. I was pleasantly surprised to have such a nice meal in such a small strip mall restaurant. It was my first time there but I am sure I will be back soon to try other dishes.
