Amazing soul food and have been looking for a good soul food spot. Greens were so good that we had to double back later in the day. Second time around there was a heavier set lady on the register at around 430 that was very impatient. I ordered the food as she was letting it be known to me and other 1st time customers that we were taking too long figuring out the menu or “confusing her” although she should be able to help guide how to order. First and foremost, Barbi R. was a godsend. From day one, she was accommodating, gracious, and truly dedicated to making our big day as perfect as possible. She went out of her way at every turn to ensure my husband and I were completely satisfied. A true testament to her dedication: on the day of our wedding, we lost the adapter for our lighted sign. I had accepted that it would stay unlit, but Barbi didn’t! Without hesitation and without even being asked, she drove to the nearest hardware store and bought a replacement. Who does that?! Now, let’s talk about the food, because it was a showstopper! Every single bite, from the appetizers to the final course, was high-class, high-quality, and exceptional. My family is incredibly picky, yet we received endless compliments for months about how amazing the food was! We chose the Classic Chicken Wellington & Petite Filet Mignon duet, and it was beyond perfect. The appetizers were just as impressive. The way everything was presented, white-gloved service silver dome and all, added an extra touch of elegance. Honestly, I wouldn’t mind having a second wedding (same husband!) just to relive that dining experience!

The venue itself is stunning! Romantic, private, and perfectly designed to flow from ceremony to reception without a hitch. The bride and groom suites were comfortable and well-appointed. Bonus, the wedding party was greeted with chilled wine. The outdoor space for the ceremony was beautiful, and the cocktail hour area had the perfect ambiance. Plus, there’s even a vineyard across the way for breathtaking photos. During our wedding we also experienced an amazing Golden hour glow that was extremely beautiful to witness. I appreciated that they offered so many all inclusive amenities. Everything on the table spread, excluding the flowers, were included! Plus a variety of options to personalize the space to your liking.

At the end of the night, Barbi and Aubrey were there with big hugs and parting gifts, a gesture that made us feel even more special. The night was pure magic and a perfect experience.

“I don't even know where to start. Our biggest reservation with having a wedding was initially thinking about how much we'd have to spend upfront. Wedgewood made it simple by breaking it up into payments leading up to the wedding day. Thankfully, we got a headstart and planned 18 months ahead. So the payment plan per se, was much more doable once it was laid out!

From our initial conversation with the venue to the final days leading up to the wedding, Rio Hondo made it so easy for us. The planning was essentially laid out step by step and easy to navigate through the online portal! The reminders were within reason, the checklist was helpful, and the admin staff were accomodating.

We decided to get the third tiered package with the venue. The package came with a day-of wedding coordinator, buffet styled dinner, a DJ and MC, a photobooth, top-shelf and open bar, a floral centerpiece for each of our tables, and a few other things including a smooth planning schedule.

Rio Hondo - thank you for making our wedding experience such a breeze! Laura and I both had so much fun. We really didn't feel like we stressed about anything.

Tamica was our day-of coordinator, Nestor was our banquet captain, and Dustin was our DJ and MC. Tamica, thank you for being so present and attentive to our needs. Many of our guests were happily surprised and satisfied. I keep thinking about the mac and cheese croquettes, the chicken with sherry cream, and the salmon. YUM! Dustin, you rock so much. “We hired Jill's Catering for our daughter's wedding held in our backyard Jill brought in help for preparing serving and bartending for the event. The food was an Italian feast that was perfectly cooked and tasted delicious. We have nearly 90 guests, so this was no small task, Jill offered excellent suggestions for our menu choices including delicious appetizers (antipasti skewers, crabcakes and phyllo cups filled goat cheese) and hearty entrees (chicken parmagiana tenders, basil cream farfalle with sun-dried tomatoes and artichoke hearts and penne with a marinara sauce with sausage and a layer of ricotta (like a deconstructed lasagne).
