“The best place to try Bosnian food! I can’t pick one favorite, from cevapi to pizza to pita , this food taste like homemade. All employees are nice and friendly, but the owner is an amazing human being, so humble and approachable, honest and relatable, love chatting with him every time we visit Cali, which is usually 2-3 times a year and we make sure we eat lunch and dinner at Sofra Urbana every day. “Great ambiance and amazing food. I had a lot of food… falafel, spicy hummus, kafta kabob, tzatziki loaded with veggies, cheese balls, and baklava. All so delicious and fresh. I even loved the fresh pita and dipping sauce that was complimentary. From the manager and many servers, everyone was pleasant and friendly throughout my time there. I went during happy hour so the specials were great during that time. I’m definitely returning to this Mediterranean restaurant for sure. I loved it.“

“Good mediterranean food can be hard to find, so, when visiting California, I’d definitely recommend stopping by this place. Located in an industrial strip mall this small but quaint restaurant is tucked away amongst other businesses, and with no signage above the doors it can easily be missed.

I ordered the salmon kebab with grilled vegetables instead of rice. Chucks of salmon squares served on skewers and separated by grilled vegetables was a visual masterpiece. The salmon was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing as did the grilled vegetables. The dish was served along side hummus, a side salad and pita bread.

I did find the pita bread a little more crisper and flaker than I’m accustomed to and it did lack a bit of flavor. With that said, I throughly enjoyed my meal.

Both tasty, I got a little of each but it’s unlimited topping. Sauces were good if you like tahini. Signed up for their rewards and already got a free lemonade.“

“Bright, airy restaurant that is larger inside than appears from outside. Plenty of parking in the shopping center lot, although you may have to walk a bit when all of the eating places are crowded. Typical SoCal ordering set-up with menu board above the order station. Make your choices, pay, find a table, and wait for your order. You can get your self-serve drink and condiments while you're waiting. Service is generally good with some enthusiastic staff. Food is very good. We shared a chicken schwarma plate with hummus and pita. We added on sides of another hummus and pita. Note that hummus and pita count as 2 sides here. The hummus was good and generous. The pita was grilled and was that lovely fluffy Greek style pita. The schwarma was tender, tasty, juicy, and covered in drippings. I wasn't into spicy, so I got the OG garlic sauce. Deliciously subtle. Prices are reasonable for these days. I noticed another store closer to where we live. Good to know.“

They also offer a buffet for Iftar on weekdays during the holy month of Ramadan. However, we reached late on that day and hence will be going there again to try the buffet.

“Nice place, arabic environment, hookahs, mix grill, arabic tea and coffee, Barbican and some old Egyptian sodas. Capacious place with out door, in-tent, and indoor places. Staying as late as 2am!! People are friendly, good new administration.“

“Tried out your Cerritos location, I lived in LA almost 3years and food especially the kebab wrap was the best by far and I have tried different kebab place’s before in LA. One of the best Kebab place in America, the lamb was moist and very tasty with great flavors, the combination of the hummus, salad, fries combined with the lamb was delicious, the fresh flat bread was soft and crispy on the outside. Add the garlic yogurt sauce wow your tastebuds explodes in your mouth, the food was very lite and not heavy like most kebab place so they got the right balance by using the flat bread and not pita bread that most place use on the wrap Well done this place remind me of a place back home in New Zealand. I give The Kebab shop in Cerritos 10/10 Highly Recommend this place to my friends and family and different locations in America. Will go again and try something different on the menu.“
