“My and bf always come here when we are in town. We found it one night while in downtown Fullerton because we really wanted Black Bean noodles. We are always trying to find places closer to home that serve the dish and make it as good, but haven’t been successful. The owners and servers are really nice and attentive.“

“A good friend recommended that I visit the Wet Dog Tavern for the first time, and I was immediately blown away by the interiors. Everything was clean and modern, and I kept telling my friend about how I liked that the front windows were big and unobstructed by signage. I like being able to see inside of a bar from the patio, otherwise I feel disconnected from what's happening inside. Being able to watch the Karaoke going on inside is a huge plus, and I think it's a smart way to attract foot traffic into a bar too. Everyone inside was so happy too!“

“Murphy’s is an amazing little hidden and charming gem in Belmont Shore! I was looking for a place to watch the NCAA Men’s Volleyball Semi-Finals recently so I could see my Long Beach State team in action. I found Murphy’s and the “Entertainment Director” was SUPER AWESOME to find this game on tv and make it possible for me to watch! He was a rock star for doing this and everyone there from employees to those hanging out -absolutely the best! Great food, atmosphere, sports, and fun! Thank you so much, Murphy’s!! Last night, I had the pleasure of enjoying an IPA at Calico Saloon while being serenaded by the Summer Nights band. The evening was a delightful blend of refreshing drinks and lively music.
**The Venue:**
Calico Saloon provided the perfect rustic backdrop, with its old-timey charm and welcoming atmosphere. The warm summer night and the live music created an ambiance that was both relaxing and exhilarating.
**The Beer:**
The IPA I ordered was a highlight of the evening. From the first sip, it was clear that this brew was crafted with care. It had a rich, golden hue and a robust aroma of citrus and pine. The flavor profile was well-balanced, featuring a harmonious blend of hoppy bitterness and subtle malt sweetness. The crisp finish left me eager for the next sip, making it a perfect choice for a warm summer night.
**The Experience:**
Sipping on this IPA while enjoying the energetic performance of the Summer Nights band was an experience to remember. The band's vibrant tunes complemented the beer perfectly, adding to the overall enjoyment of the evening. It was a night filled with great music, excellent company, and a fantastic IPA that I'll definitely be returning for.

“Great spot on base that’s absolutely worth the visit. Getting in is straightforward. Just show your ID at the guard gate and you’re good to go.
Once inside, the vibe at Fiddler’s Green Pub is laid back, friendly, and surprisingly lively for a military base pub. Prices are very reasonable for both food and drinks, which makes it an easy choice whether you’re grabbing a casual lunch or winding down after a long day.
The standout for me was the onion rings: crispy, golden, and seriously addictive. Easily some of the best I’ve had anywhere.
Overall, a fun, welcoming place with good food, good prices, and a relaxed atmosphere. Definitely coming back.“

“DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS PLACE! I had lunch here last week and I was thrown at how good the pork belly skewers and honey salmon bowl truly is. The staff is very friendly and attentive. There is plenty of space and TVs to catch a game so you don’t have to be shoulder to shoulder during a big game.

The outdoor patio has such an amazing atmosphere, and the huge projector screen makes it the perfect place to watch sports, live events, or just hang out with friends. It really feels like you’re at a Korean street pub.
The food was delicious, every dish we ordered was full of flavor and paired perfectly with soju and beer. The service was just as impressive—everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.

“I stopped by Maggie’s Pub & Banquet Hall and it feels like a classic neighborhood pub with a lot more space than you’d expect. The place is pretty big, with a large bar area and a separate banquet hall that’s often used for parties and events. It has that relaxed, old-school pub vibe where people come to watch sports, grab drinks, and hang out with friends.
The menu is mostly comfort bar food. I tried a fish and chips plate and some wings, and they were solid—simple, satisfying, and perfect with a cold beer. Some popular items here include seafood dishes, sandwiches, and classic pub plates like prime rib or pastrami sandwiches.
One thing that stands out is the venue size. The banquet hall can host large events with hundreds of guests, so the place often holds parties, comedy nights, or special celebrations.
