I've been going to Sweetee Thai since it opened years ago and I stopped in for lunch today. There's a sign on the door separating them from Sweetee Thai in Cerritos. Long story short both restaurants have new owners. Susie has retired now and I wasn't sure if I was going to be satisfied but truth be told the quality of all four dishes rated 5 stars in my book. The ambience and the live music is amazing and truly elevates the dining experience. It is unique to see at a Thai restaurant. The chicken satay (recommendation: be sure to order extra peanut sauce) is one of the best I have ever eaten at any Thai restaurant. I highly suggest you check this restaurant out if you have not already!
First time eating here
I always like recommendations but they weren’t helpful so I ordered things that I’m familiar with like cream cheese wontons , fried dumplings (gyoza). Bbq fried rice, pad Thai , Thai chicken , chicken yellow curry , orange chicken , Thai tea and spring rolls
Food was good but nothing to brag about
Service was ok had to keep flagging them down for basics such as chili and extra napkins
