Not only movie, TV and music nostalgia but also kind and considerate waitresses like Lucia who posed for a picture with me and the Blues Brothers and told us the history of Peggy Sue’s along with her great service. So glad my friends and I stopped there.”

“This little spot is great! We stopped for a quick lunch while traveling. The place was sparklingly clean (even the restrooms) and had a great family vibe. The carne asada tocos were very good and there were gluten-free and vegetarian options marked on the menu.”

“I dont write reviews. My sons got me the chicken and veggie bowl. Dad needs his veggies. I hate fast food veggies, soggy. Just Grill laid a bed of fresh Napa, carrots, and broccoli into the bowl and added hit meat. The meat warmed the veggies and added flavor. Brilliant.”

“Left Barstow in 2007. Tried many Mexican Mom & Pop places from Kansas City Mo, to Houston TX, to Dallas/Ft Worth TX. Most of them would’ve been ok had we never known Platas, but they do fail in comparison. Happy to come home and still have this deliciousness available!!!❤️”

“Well organized need to clear out homeless before they hurt some one bus parking need some one to look out for passengers constantly walking in front of buses trying to park Bus drivers need a separate line to get their food McDonald's drive thru guests block the drive way for the buses .”
