“Came here when on an overnight stay and was happy we did. It’s the cool dive bar with dollar bills everywhere,great service,great food(had the pulled pork,baked beans nachos,Coors lights on tap was hella bonus for us. Owners were super cool and very attentive at listening to our stupid stories lol. Staff was friendly and attentive as well. We will be back for sure when in town.”

“Driving home from Vegas and wanted something moderately healthy.. this popped up, so we decided to stop here.

Food was delicious, hot, and very reasonably priced.

I ordered the steak veggie bowl and a shrimp side (2 skewers of 5 shrimp. I ate one before taking photo).

Definitely stopping here on my next road trip!

“Left Barstow in 2007. Tried many Mexican Mom & Pop places from Kansas City Mo, to Houston TX, to Dallas/Ft Worth TX. Most of them would’ve been ok had we never known Platas, but they do fail in comparison. Happy to come home and still have this deliciousness available!!!❤️”

“Well organized need to clear out homeless before they hurt some one bus parking need some one to look out for passengers constantly walking in front of buses trying to park Bus drivers need a separate line to get their food McDonald's drive thru guests block the drive way for the buses .”
