“Buffalo Wild Place has consistently been a great spot for me over the last six months, and my recent visit reaffirmed that. I recommended it to a friend, but he wasn't impressed by the ratings, which surprised me because I've always had a good experience there. I believe it's underrated. The food is consistently good, the service is excellent, and the staff are professional and friendly. Joseph, our server this time, was attentive and always made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, it's a fantastic place to enjoy a meal and a few drinks.“

“If you love beer, you'll love this place. Many taps that rotate through San Francisco's locally made beer scene. From the people that opened Chomp & Swig, while both places have grill cheese, Richmond Republic Draught House has burgers, chicken sandwiches, salads, salmon, and other tasty stuff. Soon, they will have a full liquor license! Now I'm feeling the need to go there later for a pint and some food!“

“This was a great find as we were looking to eat dinner at The Bird but it was closed.. Turns out they serve the same food one door over after the restaurant closes, but in a bar instead. The place was great, servers were friendly, and there was enough seating. The music was a bit loud for our taste, but bearable for a short while. It was a bar after all. So glad we found this spot.
Parking: Difficult to find parking in Hayes valley at all times, avoid driving if you can“

“I don’t mean to brag, but as a visitor to San Francisco with an exceptionally high expectation for bars (as an nyc native and boston resident), this is my favorite bar. Scores all three zip codes. The drinks, the bartenders, the food? Come on. They’ve set the bar too high. Love sports, booze, and food? You’re welcome for this recommendation - The Blue Light.
Vegetarian options: Nearly anything can be modified!
Dietary restrictions: As far as I’ve seen, made fresh - I never order on the menu, and this was so easy.“

“Awesome new vendor in the kiosk that used to be Bi-Rite in the Civic Center Plaza (pre-pandemic). I've had 4 things here (napolitano, caprese and veggie sandwiches and beet salad) and they've all been fresh and delicious with a generous serving. The bread they use is soft and yummy, not too "bready" with a good bread:fillings ratio. My main critique is the pricing, which -- while in line with SF prices -- isn't going to be accessible to most of the local residents of the TL/SOMA. The gelato pricing starts at $5.99. With a playground right behind the kiosk, it would be nice if the prices were lower so a family of 4 wouldn't have to pay almost $25 to get ice cream on a nice day.“

“The pink pancakes, huevos rancheros and chiliques were outstanding. Loved the food. The place is in an odd location: industrial fruit packing district in a weird parking lot. We didn’t think we were at the right place because of all the fork lifts. Server was lovely. It’s not the best atmosphere for breakfast but the food was good.“

“Great old place. I just came back from San Francisco where Yancy's is located and walking in felt like coming home. This was the place I turned 21 and now 43 years later find myself standing at the bar. Yes, it looks a little worn like a favorite old sweater and totally comfortable. The only thing missing was the Pac Man machine in the back by the big screen. I love this part of San Francisco. A nice selection of restaurants little shops and just character and charm.
If you are in San Francisco and want to check out an old neighborhood bar going to Yancy's won't disappoint you.“

“the cutest restaurant with amazing decor, food, and service. the waitress was super nice in letting us know what options are vegetarian. the white bean salad was genuinely SO delicious, the chips and guac was super good with the freshly made chips, and the spinach and artichoke dip was heavenly. the ambience inside was lovely and the bathroom was very clean. I loved this place!“

“Awesome location, 3 blocks from the Powell bart station. They have fun games like shuffleboard, pool, and some arcade games. Great selection of draft and bottled beers. Great place to watch big games but get there early if you want a spot as it can get crowded. Bar food is good too. The service and security are very attentive. If you have a finished glass, it'll be gone in under 5 minutes. Definitely check this place out.“
“Best Irish coffee in San Francisco and the three Sullivan s are the kindest nicest bartenders in the country 😎😎🍀🇺🇸“

“Great spot for locals or if you wanted to stop somewhere close enough to BART if there are delays or you want an easy escape to it. Limited drink selections and staff, but it's the kind of spot that reminds you that you don't really need all that. I had wanted to stop in for a long time before finally making my way in and glad I did.“

“I could give a F about Basketball but sadly it's an opening to charge 9,10 dollars for a beer. Beer were decent but certainly not 10 dollars beer. I really liked the view of the water and ship yard, also it was well wind protected. Parking here sux! Watch out for time and day limits. As for food it's basically a pretzel pub, big gourmet pretzel but...eh!...No food trucks in sight. Bring a pizza. Beer Rules“

“We sat at the bar and the waiter was super attentive and kind. We even asked for a custom drink that he tried to make happen, although he didn’t have all the exact ingredients. We had a great experience here. The games and jukebox are a fun add-on.
The interior and lighting could have been a bit better for my personal liking, but it still felt quite cozy.“
“Great experience! All locals and truly the most inviting bar I've been to in SF. Drinks and food are great, with the most reasonable pricing I have ever seen in SF!
It really does live up to its name, and I've made more friends coming away from last night!!! :)“

“My new favorite dive bar in the city. A great blues band was playing the night we went and the atmosphere was fun and full of happiness. Excellent and creative cocktails (the Bee's Knees and the ginger cocktail are very much recommended). Service was exceptional, we'll be definitely coming back! Love this place, A+++
Parking: best to get here via ride share because parking is extremely difficult to find.“
“Found out my great grand father owned this bar 70 years ago and came in here early this afternoon and I'm so amazed how amazing the staff and customer were to me and telling me stories about the bar was an amazing experience for my 1st time. Ever I love this bar“

“Foghorn Taproom was an interesting spot to try, but as a vegetarian, I found the options a bit limited. The Impossible wings were okay—they’re the same ones you can buy from Costco and just add sauce to, so not too exciting. However, the Brussels sprouts were a pleasant surprise—crispy, flavorful, and really well done. Definitely worth trying!
The French fries were also amazing—perfectly crispy and golden, definitely a standout. The app-based payment system was convenient, but we did have to wait a while for our food, which was a bit frustrating.
Overall, it was cool to try, but I’d say it’s better suited for non-vegetarians. Still, the Brussels sprouts and fries alone might be worth another visit!“

“Nice neighborhood sports bar, right across the street from the Roxie theater. Long bar seating on one side, tables on the other. Lots of TVs, 24 beer taps (only about 16 in use at my visit), decent back bar selection, and even a good choice of rums. Good sized wings with great buffalo sauce, mozz sticks could be better, but are ok. Food prices are a little high.“

“Came here with a friend while working in town. It was so good we went 3 days in a row.
We sat at the bar and Rodger gave us the Royal treatment!
The salmon salad, the salmon BLT, and the pastrami are all fire. And if you're like me and don't drink alcohol, definitely ask for a ginger beer <Yes they're alcohol-free!
Can't say enough nice things about this place!“
