Our experience at Harpoon Henry’s is always excellent. Today was stellar! We had a wonderful young server, John, a.k.a. JFR. He was attentive, great vibe, never overbearing, and pardon the pun a “Johnny on the spot.” Whenever family or visitors come to town we always go to Harpoon Henry’s!
What a wonderful night! And how silly are we? We've owned a boat in this marina for well over three years, and have spent quite a bit of time in the Dana Point Harbor, eating at the various restaurants, but it wasn't until January 2024 that we finally tried Harpoon Henry's. Our visit started off a little rough in the lounge for a drink before dinner. Our server was inexperienced and wasn't very friendly and made mistakes with drink orders. After a drink, we moved to the dining room for dinner, and our server was awesome. Our meals were delicious and the view of the marina was nice. The restaurant is clean but a little dated and due for renovation.
