Scoop Deck Ice Cream

Walking along the pier we noticed a sizable line of people waiting in line at only one restaurant, which is usually a sign of good food. This was certainly true at The Coffee Importers. We ordered sandwiches - one roast beef and one turkey -- was able to specify the bread and condiments. Both were quite thick - appropriate for the price point >$14 - and both were very delicious. I would like to tell the owner that the name of their business doesn’t match the website in map quest.There was nothing label regarding gluten free ice cream. When I asked if they had gluten free ice cream. The young man had to find out what was gluten free.After looking over the options and decided the safe ones. Unfortunately, I picked out the wrong one. Nice ice cream shop with a variety of unique flavors. They don't offer samples so we got screwed with one of our choices. Banana Caramel Chocolate Chip - 1/5 Tasted very much of chemicals instead of fresh bananas as advertised. Think of a banana flavor Now And Later candy. BLEH. Hawaii Sea Salt Caramel - 4/5 I think this was legit good but the horrible banana caramel ice cream overpowered this and ruined the entire cup.
