“Friends say it's just like the Uniboil they're used to in Southern California and I can't argue with that assessment. Get the triple meat hot pots if you want a ample portion, or add extras off the menu. Triple, pork blood, tendon meatballs, all kinds of delicious noms.“

“We were in town with some friends. We wanted thai food but to find out it closed and this pho tasty took over. So we gave it a try since it was across from temple coffee which was the plan to get some coffee after lunch..We walked in and they still have the fake coconut trees so yay. The layout is cozy with comfy grey chairs. The esthetic is great inside. Just a little crowded because of limited space..Bun rieu - I ordered it and I loved it. It wasn't too salty. I loved the pork meatballs in it. The soup hit the spot for the bright sunny day..Beef pho - according to my friend it was good. It was a little salty. Can't go wrong with a classic beef pho..Bun xieo - Crispy egg pancake. The size was big and lots of veggies came with it. If your craving some salad or refresh dish or a dish to share, this is the one. It was light too packed with flavors..Overall service was ok. They came to refill water. Sometimes we ask them something but there is no reply but they bring you the things you asked. Just they don't tell you they hear you. Other than that it was a nice experience and we would come back and try other items when in the area. Thanks for reading and have a yelptastic day“

“Noodle House, as my family and I lovingly call it, is an icon in Davis. It's a little hole in the wall behind Sophia's Thai Bar that was referred to my husband and I 15 years ago. We walked in and almost left because it's small... and old... and a little sketchy? But we decided to give it a try anyway.
We have been coming regularly since then, and our family has grown, and grown up begging to go there for special occasions like getting good grades, etc. There is nothing we have had that isn't delicious.
I highly recommend the won ton noodle soup, pork chop noodle soup, szechuan eggplant with noodles, the potato curry with noodles, the 5 spice beef noodle soup, and the chow mein.
The noodles are homemade. The broths and sauces are unique, delicious, and literally award winning.
The service is fine. It's the same lady for the past several years. She's quick and efficient. Before that, I think it was her mom or aunt.
You won't regret trying it out - and if you do, you'll be back.“

“If you want your money’s worth this is the place. The other reviews are correct, the portions are generous and the employees are extremely kind! Pork Katsu was super crisp, sushi was fresh, tempura tasty and not too oily. They mainly do takeout orders so don’t expect the most handsome dine-in experience, it’s very casual. I would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a simple sushi spot, it did not disappoint.“

“Food was great, I got it to go on my lunch break. They gave the broth separately from noodles and meat. And toppings in separate bag. It was a good portion of everything. Good amount of meat and toppings. And the broth tasted really good. The guy who took my order was nice and they got it together quick. I was really happy with my experience and taste here and I recommend that people come here so this place stays open!!!“

“I've recently become an enjoyer of pho, and my friend who joined me had heard good things about this place. They were quite busy when we went (Saturday night), and ultimately the food was not a disappointment. Their options and pricing was a bit odd and different than my usual places in Sacramento, but still an enjoyable meal.“
