“We have been looking for a place that served tasty Acai Bowls…Our favorite Acai bowl places either, closed down, burned down or changed the way they made their Acai bowls…We found Liquid Bean Café on the internet and decided to give it a try…Well, we both had the Acai bowls but I added an Egg Salad Sandwich pressed in a Panini press to our order…The Acai Bowls were fresh and totally delicious!!!…I really liked the Egg Salad Sandwich and loved the way it was pressed and toasted in the Panini press…We highly recommend Liquid Bean Café if you are ever in the Del Mar area…We will definitely be back again!!!…Five Stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

It’s been super crowded with no seating the last few months bc people tend to stay for hours working. Which I totally understand. But for a UCSD alum like me, I may just wanna sit for half an hour maybe an hour at most and often there is no seating. That’s my only suggestion. Add single person searing. But I’ll definitely be back and hope to come before a “rush”. The line can get very long. (I get it. I used to work in a cafe at the Price Center and it was crazy there). Also would Love if they stayed open later. One can only hope.“

“Absolutely love the açai bowl here! The overall freshness of the fruits and the açai is amazing

Açai bowl: I love them these guys make them superb! I got a few extras like Nutella and it felt like they add in a generous amount! Any topping paid or not paid for is added generously and you can customise this as you’d like!

Service: The first time I went there was a board with we will be right back and then I went in another fifteen mins and they were up and running. It seems the staff was having their lunch but they were super quick and available again in fifteen mins! The lady who prepped my bowl is super duper sweet and friendly and very friendly.

Ambience: Nothing much like ambience as it’s a small kiosk like space but there are chairs and tables nearby and quite a few of them and hence great place to sit outside“

“This is my absolute favorite smoothie bowl place EVER. Unlimited toppings, and they always load them up. Free visitor parking in the nearby lot, but during school hours, it's pretty difficult to find a spot. Plenty of parking during summer break, however!

“I was visiting the area for a work trip and looking for coffee/ pastries to bring to the office. MUCH better than going the Panera / Starbucks route plus the added benefit of supporting local. Convenient online ordering to make your morning pickup even faster. Delicious pastries and scones from a local bakery - light and flakey. Favorite (so far!) is the white chocolate cranberry. Also on my list to try - brownies, muffins, bagels, paninis. The Acai bowl a delicious and will be part of my morning fix for breakfast when I am visiting. Quick in and out plus delicious!

“I am sad I only got to try one thing from this place. It was so difficult to decide what I wanted, but I ended up ordering their strawberry smooth with a drizzle of their homemade nutella around the cup. It was heavenly. 😍 Seriously though, this place makes their own everything, their own oat and almond milk, their own nut butters, their own granola, and even their own protein powder. I was seriously impressed. They have meals, desserts, and snacks too. I really wish I had a location close by.“

“Great job on the food but please give dine-in customers a plastic free option. There is no reason to be serving people eating in your restaurant with single use plastic spoons and plastic bowls. The oceans are filled with single use plastic, no need to contribute to that with dine-in customers that could be served with silverware and bowls.“

“First I will start by saying we visit this location often and live nearby. Typically all the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful and all the items I've ever purchased have been top quality.
On this day my daughter and I went in and we asked for a banana protein muffin and an acai bowl to be split into two bowls. The girl working there looked confused at the request but still accommodated us.

When the bowl came out my half was still unblended with numerous large frozen strawberries still chillin in the bowl . I let the girl know, and the look on her face was like I had just asked her for a ride to the airport. She said "it happens", and that she could fix it but it would take a while... she was very clearly annoyed. I felt bad for even mentioning it.

The manager, Gonzo, didn't hesitate and kindly said he was going to remake it and that it was no problem at all. We really appreciated his prompt and friendly demeanor and he did it in such a way that didn't make us feel bad for bringing it to their attention. Five stars to Gonzo for his patience and professionalism ?“

The detoxify drink is great if you like ginger and the protein bowl is amazing but the green drink left my comrade with a bitter taste in his mouth lol. Actually we ended up getting a cup and poured into it because it was pointless to try to eat it with a spoon. I got the 800 lb gorilla which is a pretty hearty shake and that too was pretty thin. I don't really know what the problem was but I thought it was kind of odd.“

“I went to the Solana Beach location when it first opened and visited yesterday to find they moved two doors down to a bigger and better location. More salad selection and plates (like Upper Plates) were offered. It was fantastic! I had the Ahi Salad which was delicious! The greens were delicious and the toppings were very good.
