“We have been looking for a place that served tasty Acai Bowls…Our favorite Acai bowl places either, closed down, burned down or changed the way they made their Acai bowls…We found Liquid Bean Café on the internet and decided to give it a try…Well, we both had the Acai bowls but I added an Egg Salad Sandwich pressed in a Panini press to our order…The Acai Bowls were fresh and totally delicious!!!…I really liked the Egg Salad Sandwich and loved the way it was pressed and toasted in the Panini press…We highly recommend Liquid Bean Café if you are ever in the Del Mar area…We will definitely be back again!!!…Five Stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“This place has the great yogurland flavors that you expect, but what stood out was the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. The yogurt stations were well kept and all the toppings were fresh (including the nuts). You can tell that the owner/staff really care for the place. We look forward to visiting again!“

“The bases don’t have any flavor. I tried the acai, pitaya, and the blue one. Despite being visually different, they all tasted like nothing. It was weird. Maybe they use less sugar. The main redeeming factor is the amount of toppings and customization you can have, if you pick a whatever bowl. The price seems pretty reasonable, and the interior of the store is clean and nicely decorated. The toilet is gross though, and it needs to be deep cleaned.“

“Absolutely lovely ambience and food! Loved the decor and seating both inside and out. And I have been to many many cafes and this has one of the nicest vibes I have come across! The masala chai was wonderful. The egg burrito was also delicious as well as the cakes. To top it off the service was wonderful. This is a must visit cafe in San Diego don't miss it !“

“This morning I broke a 3 day water fast with a smoothie. Of course I came to Choice for that. Alyssia is the best! She was great vibes from the minute I walked through the door, and super helpful with suggestions. I make a mean smoothie and I have to say that this one far exceeded my expectations. It was absolutely delicious and I could taste the love and care put into it. Thank again Alyssia! I highly recommend this spot. I only wish there was more “bar style” seating for those who tend to linger for hours on their own instead of taking up a whole table. It’s been super crowded with no seating the last few months bc people tend to stay for hours working. Which I totally understand. But for a UCSD alum like me, I may just wanna sit for half an hour maybe an hour at most and often there is no seating. That’s my only suggestion. Add single person searing. But I’ll definitely be back and hope to come before a “rush”. The line can get very long. (I get it. I used to work in a cafe at the Price Center and it was crazy there). Also would Love if they stayed open later. One can only hope.“

“One of the best açaís I’ve tried in SD. I was craving one today and it was so good I am thinking about going back tomorrow to have another one. My toddler had one too, he’s 3 years old, he ate all his small one with fruits and came to grab mine too lol
I got mine with strawberries, blueberries, dry milk, almond butter (amazing!!) and chia pudding (amazing!!).

“Got a drip coffee and was really good! The grill/toaster was taking a while to heat up but the barista kept me updated and was really nice. She even gave me a slice of banana bread because of the wait (which I didn’t mind). Great customer service! Check them out!“

“Fabulous, love this place! Krista's Kolada is a must try, it is so delicious! My Protein Power Bowl was packed to the top with fresh fruit and I love the choice of either plant based (pea) or whey protein. I love the expansive menu, the Protein Waffles are so good and I haven't seen those anywhere else. Huge menu, friendly staff and fun and healthful items. The Popeye was taken off the menu but you can still order it here, thank you! I stop here every time I go to Trader Joes (same shopping center) so its very convenient.“

“Sambazon in Cardiff is awesome. They are quite frequently busy, but they are fast and worth waiting for. I have the PB Açaí bowl and it fills me up for the whole day. The people are super friendly and helpful. If you are in Encinitas be sure to go the extra few miles to Cardiff by the Sea.“
