“We stopped after driving 5 hours. We asked for our large order to go and the server informed us that it would be 15-20 minutes to prepare our food. She offered for us to go ahead and sit and wait. While we were waiting, she brought over waters for everyone and then chips and salsa. Each of our orders included a bag of tortilla chips and cups of salsa. The food was so good that my husband consumed his meal in minutes. The portions were large and so tasty. If we are ever driving through again we will go out of our way to stop and enjoy a meal.”

Had the Machaca breakfast plate and a side of bacon to boot. It did not disappoint and the bacon was perfectly crispy and crunchy without being over cooked. Asked for a tall OJ, but got something that was Oj based but more tropical, maybe mango or pineapple blended in, it was tasty either way.”

“Do not be fooled by its location inside a gas station. These lady’s can make the best Mexican food in town. Reasonably priced and delicious, I had a breakfast burrito that was huge, took me a whole day to digest! Highly recommended”

It’s located in Cecil Plaza, therefore parking can be limited.They have a variety of sweet and savory snacks to choose from. They also have a wide selection of drinks and desserts. I ordered their Halo-Halo because I had been craving one for a while. I thought I’d give it a try, and I am glad I made that decision. The Halo-Halo was creamy and had a perfect balanced sweetness. It came with chunks of coconut jelly, jackfruit, wafers and a scoop of ice cream of your choice. I went with the classic ube ice cream. The ube ice cream was a creamy deliciousness. As it melted, it incorporated so well with the rest of the dessert, which made it creamier and harder to stop eating ? needles to say, I devoured the whole thing. I recommend trying their Halo-Halo, and their ice cream shakes (they look creamy, almost velvety ?)!I truly enjoyed my Halo-Halo, and I will be back to try their other snacks, desserts and drinks. They even have concha ice cream sandwiches, and I need to try.”

“I went last night for the first time to get treats for my family , I walked out with 4 paletas , a corn in a cup , chocobanano, and two scoops of vanilla ice cream 🍨 🙂 Everything was delicious 😋 my family enjoyed everything! The girls working their were very nice and patient 🙂 totally recommend! As as far a language barrier ... I’m bilingual so I had no issues , but I did see their was a girl there speaking in English ! “I do not recommend Jenny's Cafe. went with my mom and dad. we all ordered and my parents got their food. I did not receive any food Even though I ordered. we decided to leave with me not getting my order. then they tried to charge my order when nothing was brought out to me. service is slow, no refill on my drink or chips. I would post a picture of my food, or say if it was good or not, but I never got any food.”

The food was amazing! I felt like I was eating in a costal town and our server was great! I wish I could have gotten his name. He had a muscular build, Hispanic and his customer service is second to none.
At one point, I ordered an iced tea and it tasted stale. I'm not sure if it was the water or the type of tea that they brew, but when I asked for an horchata instead, our server graciously took it back and brought out my new drink and kept coming back for refills.
I ordered the shrimp and steak platter. Which came with a side salad, (on the plate) rice, beans and a mild pico de gallo with fresh veggies in it. The green salsa was just finely diced up jalapeños and it was the perfect amount of spice for the dish.
I also loved the atmosphere as there was a man with a guitar and a man with an accordion playing music Español.
This place seems like it would be a great place for a 1st date, a family dinner or just a stop in the Central Valley for some amazing seafood.
I highly recommend this restaurant and will be returning for future meals!”
