“First time trying it out on a recommendation from a few people.
They do have a decent salsa bar (cabbage salsa is the superior salsa 🤤) which was a highlight of one of the recommendations.

The food left a little to be desired, I got the two item combo the tamale was very tasty, the red sauce had a good kick but it didn't linger or take away from the flavor. The sope however was a little lack-luster. I got it with pastor, which was not like any pastor I've ever had so that was disappointing. The masa was tough and flavorless. I love that they use romaine and not just iceberg but it was missing that crunch. Points for the rice and beans, though, they were very flavorful!
My husband got the taco salad, and it was pitiful, huge shell barely half way filled up. He was also bummed at the pastor.
He also said the shell tasted like dish soap😬

Overall- more positives than negatives and I'd definitely come back to try other stuff. I saw other plates that people in our group ordered and I was definitely intrigued!

“Food was amazing. It was our first visit so we went easy and ordered nachos and burritos and, gotta say I was disappointed... That we didn't order something else too. The burritos were some of the best we've had. Perfectly cooked, meat was tender, perfect touch of lime, beautifully seasoned. Only thing holding them from a 5 star is the tap water tasting... Like tap water, but, it did give an authentic 3rd world experience.“

“I really don't want to write this review because i know what will happen so here is my story...I passed this taco truck on my way to pick up vax for my cattle at Lander's Veterinary Clinic a week ago. I was curious about the taco truck and asked the folx working at the vet clinic if they recommended the truck's food. They raved about it. Since I had cash I made the decision to stop on my way back home to buy some tacos and put them to the test...I'm kinda of a food snob.Here is what I ordered: (2) carne asada tacos, (2) al pastor, (1) lengua taco, and a (1) tripas taco to try out. I doubted they could do better than the taco places I grew up by in L.A..OMG! Shut the Front Door!!The tacos were so good that on my way back home to Oakdale, I ate most of the tacos. My husband is lucky he had two tacos leftover for his dinner. These were even better than any tacos I've had in SoCal!!It gets busy during lunch time so take a longer lunchbreak or get there early. I'm heading back soon and taking my boss and a few colleagues with me.Cash only business. Covered benches, no bathrooms, bring your baby wipes if you eat there.“

They forgot part of our order, so we went back. They were apologetic and gave us even more food than the one thing they forgot. They were great at making the customer happy! “It is a good place to eat this type of food, however they lack seasoning in the case of red rice, it has no flavor. I tried shrimp with garlic mojo and it tasted pretty good, they were just a little too salty.

If it is the same I just wanted to say that I still remember every little/big bite of The Carnitas burrito and it still makes my mouth water and drool starts to form. “Outstanding authentic Mexican flavor. Tastes sooooooo good! If you like tacos (and who doesn't) you MUST try the menu item called "3-Taco Birria Pulled Beef" with cheese/lettuce/tomato. I was blown away by the rich flavor. It's served with a cup of delicious broth on the side which is great for dipping. I'm always craving this meal. Another recommended choice is the deep-fried Quesadilla with marinated Birria pulled beef. This one has fresh veggies on the inside and is layered with a rich, tasty cheese on the outside. I can't stay away from this place!!!“

Very authentic, at least from what I remember as a child in Mexico, watching and tasting the yummy pork softly boiling in a cauldron of lard. ☺️ Fresh tender sheets of cueritos come out first, then the buche, and finally the carnitas! THIS place is JUST like that- in taste -and I love it!! Service is super. The couple that owns it is very friendly. They answered all our questions (husband is on a strict diet; minding his macros n’ all) and made suggestions on menu items. Everything we’ve ordered has been amazing. I asked for it to be extra spicy and it was superb and limey, the owners son is a ray of sunshine, he was super friendly and gave great recommendations. The seating and parking are limited because they're often busy. The inside is loud and lively.
