“Quaint, cozy and clean restaurant. Food offerings/menu choices were excellent. Flavor of crab cake, duck and wagu beef dishes were superb. Bread pudding and chocolate cake was a disappointment. Service was a little melancholy. Made a reservation for 2 celebrating our 34th wedding anniversary (noted in the reservation). The person seating us first offered us a table for 4 that was in way of the front door. Possibly saw our reluctance, proceeded to offer us a small table for 2 in a corner, which was a lot better. Overall great experience.”
“Fresh and delicious oysters. Never disappoints!”

“Believe the hype. The Egyptian is the most decadent take on a cinnamon roll I've ever had. The flavors here are mature; the Meyer lemon scone is fluffy and mildly bitter.”
“I just had the best taco of my entire life. It was rabbit sausage with a salsa macha and persimmon. The tortillas were delicious, the sausage was plentiful and juicy, and the salsa macha was the right amount of hot and flavorful. Sooooo good.”

“Amazing place to get a bite. I’ve had Spud’s for a few years now. Their clam chowder is the best I’ve ever had. I live 2 hours away, but make sure I get down to bodega bay every few months. The location is awesome, parking can be not great if it’s the weekend and it’s busy. It’s also great they have specials and locally caught seafood. If you haven’t heard of Spud’s then I’m sorry for ya. 10/10 would definitely recommend to anyone.”

“Huria's did an amazing job catering for our wedding welcome party! Not only was the food absolutely delicious and had something for everyone but the presentation and atmosphere they helped create was so inviting and friendly. Communication with them was punctual, efficient and easy which was important considering my wife and I planned our own wedding. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the food! Would enthusiastically recommend for any event where you're looking for fantastic food presented with charm and kindness.”

“We were lucky not to be there on a weekend. The place is a no nonsense eatery swarming with flies and bees. Food is as expected fresh from the sea and different options of trying out the oysters. Unfortunately many of them have pork items inside it so it is really an issue for those who do not eat pork. Prices are on the higher side and service is swift. There are makeshift cabins for toilets. A plus point was the free wifi which was really very helpful as there are no 5G signals in that area.
Vegetarian options: none
Dietary restrictions: lots of items have pork which makes it difficult for those who do not eat it
Wheelchair accessibility: difficult”
“I saw a post with pic of snickers cupcake and couldn’t stop thinking about them. Contacted Lana and ordered. Yum! Yum! Yum!! Moist chocolate cupcake with a light peanut butter frosting, drizzled with caramel then topped with bites of snickers! Even better than I thought they would be - thank you Lana! I will definitely be ordering again!”

“Captain's is a hole in the wall and not much bigger. Not much place to stand on the inside but there are tables under an overhang to sit under. We didn't try the ice cream but my latte and her mocha were really tasty.”

“Very great experience. My cousin and I tried the Hot Mama, I think it was called, a mushroom mocha. It was delicious and we enjoyed sitting in the garden on a lovely October day. The woman who helped us was really nice!”

“I vacation in Bodega Bay several times a year and hadn’t tried this restaurant yet, it was foggy and cold so we decided we wanted to eat Somewhere inside Out of the wind. We are so happy we came to. La Bodeguita! First of all the salsa that came with the chips when we first sat down was amazing! We had it refilled several times. We started with the fried calamari and our main dinner choices were the Crab enchiladas and El Mazatian, Both were absolutely amazing, the seafood in them tasted so fresh, and there was huge chunks of crab in the enchiladas! It was very obvious that everything on our plate was homemade not out of a can. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to this restaurant It will be one of our regular stops.”

“My friend and I shared a wine tasting which consisted of three small glasses of tasting size. You get to pick the three wines that you want. Not a huge selection., but works. We decided to eat there and I got the crabcakes which were pretty tasty a spicy sauce on top, and there were bell peppers and with the crabcakes. My friend got salmon with the skin was very crispy which he likes but the inside was too rare and he had to ask them to cook it more. It came back, still a bit too rare, and we fed that to the seagulls….The couscous salad that came with it was the best thing of all. I would not run back there but if you’re hungry and in that exact area, it’s a convenient place to grab a bite to eat. They have a couple of different patios outside, and the staff was very friendly. The one remark my friend said was that if they’re going to leave the salmon that raw like they said they usually do, they should ask people how they like it cooked. He loves sushi, but it was too rare for him being that it was salmon. It was a great day to get away from the high heat of Sonoma. We went from the 90s to the 60s wearing a jacket. He had never gone by the school house from Alford Hitchcock The Birds, so we did that on the way out.”

“This rarely known winery provides tours to their vineyard and their generated farm that grows the grapes! They even let me eat the grapes that will make the same bottle of wine but 2024 vintage! A never had tasting experience. Highly recommended.”

“The food here was delicious; I really have no complaints taste-wise! The only issue was the price. Everything seemed a little too expensive for what we got. Everybody at the table enjoyed their dish, though. Other than pricing, the restaurant had a great beach atmosphere and amazing service. Just know that their menu is seasonal, so you may not be able to get everything seen here. I recommend Costal Kitchen if you're staying at the nearby resort!”
