“The pizza was delicious!! We were a little confused about how to order, but figured it out. It's a walk-up counter and you order at the window. We were there on a Thursday, so could only order slices of pizza, but the slices are very generous. We also got a fresh loaf of sour dough bread, meatballs, and pasta salad. The food was all so good! We ordered glasses of wine while we waited the 10-15 minutes for our order. Cute spot in downtown Tomales.”

“Three of us ate lunch here as first time patrons. Each dish was absolutely delicious. The grilled chicken sandwich is the best lunch I’ve been served in years. Very personable service. We sat at an outside table with our two dogs, a very pleasant setting.”

“The service was like any place. Some were superstars, and others couldn't be bothered. But the superstars won! The Fish and fries were incredible - best fries I've had in a long time. It's situated in a very rural area, but the drive is worth it. The building is right on (next to) the water and place is nice.”

“Omg! We just had the best dinner date ever! So refreshing! The place is welcoming, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the wine is delicious and the menu is mindfully crafted! For the vegetarians and vegans out there, get ready to be blown away by fresh ingredientes and delicious recipes! The French lentil soup was the best soup I've ever had in my life! The lasagna bolognese omg!! The baguette! Don't even think twice! The whole ordering ahead was really cool too! Just come to n in and have an experience for yourself! Just wow!”

“We have been coming here for years & raved about this spot to everyone we knew. Sadly, I know they've had to make changes recently. As a small business owner, I get it. But dang...I do GREATLY MISS shucking your own oysters, being able to bring your own items for a picnic, & being able to reserve a BBQ to use. Now, it just feels pricey - I'd rather sit inside (somewhere warm) & enjoy fresh oysters nearby. Yet, they deserve mad respect, gorgeous location & product :)”

“So happy to see this Cafe open and under new owners. Outstanding fresh selection of pastries and espresso drinks. Very nice people too. Great location on Hwy 1, just north of the busy town of Bodega Bay before you get to the campground. I'll be back with my cycling buddies often. (Hrs: 8:30-2:30, Tuesday through Sunday). Check out their Beehive Danish. I'm getting that next time.”

“Some of the best coffee cake I’ve ever had. Clearly fresh made, tangy, not to sweet, and perfectly spiced and filling. Coffee was good too! The woman working was very nice and efficient. Would recommend if you’re in Bodega Bay!”

“The oysters are fantastic - we had the Chorizo, Kilpatrick and Raw. As was the bread that came with them and the fish tacos.The smoked trout salad and pulled pork sandwich were ok. Wouldn’t recommend compared with the oysters.Beautiful location and view - especially on a nice day!”

“Love the vibe here. This is my first time back in Sebastopol in 17 years, and the hodgepodge art vibe reminds me of old Sebastopol much more than downtown. Good to see the humble old spirit of the city still lives in a few places around town.They have a wide and eclectic variety of teas (including loose leaf). They also have display cases of various raw crystals (not the polished ones like in most stores downtown), all of which are for sale. My soy latte was great too”

“Delightful seafood specials with large giant cooked crabs, sweet potato fries, fresh fried fish and chips, calamari, smoked salmon, absolutely out of this world taste. My daughter loves the dishes, especially grilled cheese sandwiches. Family favorite.”

“We brought our dog and sat outside on the pier. We had great service amazing raw oysters chowder and homemade soft buttery bread, so good! It was quite a drive but the scenery along the way was pretty and we enjoyed the drive. They have an inn across the street, perhaps we'll stay next time.”

“Really nice people working here. We were so happy to find something that had outdoor seating and was dog friendly during a weekend where rain was heavy and often. Parking is limited and lotsa tourists around. Park at the cute country store and buy a soda and then go over to Estero. Great menu, lots of little creative dishes and the service was so nice and friendly and sweet. Well run, deliciously satisfying food, cooked well, and lots of crab based specials that looked awesome. On a quiet part of Highway 1, go here and be impressed and well taken care of. Thanks for the delicious coffee and food!”

“We've been excited to try Huria's pizza for a while now and finally got the chance this weekend while visiting the area. The pizza was delicious, but I have to say it's the chocolate cake I will be dreaming about! That was maybe the best piece of cake I've ever had! Hurrah to the Huria family! Looking forward to next time :)”

“I stopped by for lunch on a sunny day and this was a home run. The Hitchcock wink just gilds this very pleasant spot. The Birds sits right off the water with multiple levels of scenic, outdoor seating wrapped around the little kitchen where you order and pick up. Pass the single stall bathroom, and you'll find an adjacent building set up as a coffee shop. The menu is simple, but effective. Fish Tacos: Loved them. The fish has a light, crisp batter. They're served with shredded cabbage, fresh pico de gallo, and an avocado sauce on top. Two hearty tacos to an order and so good. Artichoke Fritters: I know this is county fair food, but I loved these. I thought they might be heavy, but they were actually pretty crunchy, frilly, and delicate. They're good with the ranch on the side and a little hot sauce. The portion is honestly giant which is fun. I took my leftovers home and enjoyed them again that night!”

“You have to go here if you visit Bodege Bay. We are obsessed with this place. Some of the biggest ice cream scoops I have ever had. Captain Davey himself works behind the counter and he does not fool around. He was giving it his all scooping ice cream for me and making amazing coffee with his very nice-looking espresso machine. If I lived here I would come once a week. This is a small place and its only one man so if you can go in the middle of the day you will avoid a line. There is not a lot of seating. The hot dog place next door let us use their bathroom.”

“One of my favorite wineries. Such a hidden gem. The owner was super nice and very fun to chat with. The experience was very relaxing and intimate. Went here with my brother a few years ago and looking to go back next time I'm in the area. I thought I was only a white wine girly but was blown away by the cab!”

“We have loved dining at Stormy’s for years, and always enjoy taking loved ones here for celebrations. Wonderful ambiance with big fireplace and old school vintage items for decor. Roger, Carolyn, daughter Taylor and son in law Fabio always cook/serve amazing food and are very welcoming and accommodating to us. The rib eye steak is the BEST we’ve had in Sonoma County!”

“Stopped in for the first time this morning, was pleasantly surprised by this local gem. Nice people working, the owner shows real pride of ownership with this establishment. Clean bathroom, good coffee, nice snack, regulars are welcoming, highly suggest you give it a try. We will be back.”

“Gem of Bodega bay!! This restaurant was very delicious. Everything we ordered was delicious including the torta, tacos and burrito. The family that owned the restaurant were all very kind and did a great job answering all our questions since it was our first time. The location is great, the restaurant is decorated very cute. They had great music playing and the kiddos were able to be kids and enjoy themselves.”

“My favorite spot in the area - exceptional food! The crab sandwich is a must, as is the chowder. This is my #1 of 5 chowders I have tried in the area. The crab is prepared with light mayonnaise and lemon juice so the crab is the highlight. The toasted bread with the melted havarti make this sandwich a standout! Very friendly staff and nice rustic location on the water. The crab traps in the parking lot next door give a fishing village vibe. I look forward to returning.Visited after a high 50s morning at Doran Beach - AWESOME DAY!”

“Exceptional chowder - clams, cod, leeks and bacon - delicious. Visited for an early dinner after an afternoon at Dillon Beach with my dogs. The views from the restaurant are gorgeous; Highly recommend making this part of a North Marin/Sonoma Coast trip!”
