“I completed an online order the day before Christmas eve. I was expecting to wait in a very long line. Other than parking which I found in the next parking lot which was not bad. I was literally in and out in 15 minutes it was amazing. AND I was able to order additional items to my order in a specific cashier, and that was amazingly efficient as well....the quality is not only good but the man/woman power they had up there is a well oiled machine! Kudos for an amazing efficient system that not only makes the customer happy, but has calm employees handle everything with a team oriented approach. It was beautiful!!!! “I’ve never had any rude interactions with these employees but you also have to understand that they also have a life so coming in with 5 minutes till closing with all your family members trying to figure out what they want puts them in overtime and me as a business man can’t afford to pay out that much O/T because you decided to wait to the very last moment . So get use to it it’s happening all around in a lot of businesses .“

I Hate Cake—But This One Changed My Mind

I’ve spent years dodging birthday slices, declining dessert menus, and side-eyeing frosting like it owed me money. Not even as a kid did I like cake. Cake and I? Not friends. Everything i got to try was great, but then came this ube and coconut cake and OMG!!!!

It didn’t just taste good—it rewrote my dessert beliefs. Moist without being mushy, sweet without the sugar assault, and layered like a symphony. The texture? A velvet rebellion. The flavor? A sermon in indulgence. I didn’t just eat it—Im forever converted. Thank you!!“

“It's always pretty busy but for good reasoning. The salads are fresh, crisp, and have great assortments of ingredients that place them right on the intersection of healthy & indulgent!!! I loved the chicken ceasar, but the apple pomegranate is truly something else! The soup they have as a special right now is everything I look for in a soup; warm, comforting, and hearty. The bread they serve with it dipped in the broth is the icing on the cake. Everybody already knows that they nail the sugary stuff! Their baked goods are dangerously delicious. My fave dessert is Tiramisu and Porto's NAILS IT! Their marscapone cream is super light and airy and with the little bits of chocolate and ladyfingers, along with that espresso flavor?! UGH. It's incredible. They do great strawberry matchas btw, their creamy strawberry puree is what makes it special. You can tell it's not artificial flavoring. I love the tea bags they use in their earl greys as well! I've had many cheese and guava danishes at various events along with trying other desserts at birthdays and my two dine in visits thus far, and I'VE NEVER bern disappointed. Porto's is peak indulgent comfort food, made with ingredients that I feel are high quality. Id also say personally, that I feel like everything is a good price for how fresh it is! Annette is a total sweetheart and a literal ray of sunshine by the way, her customer service is amazing!!! Jason gave my sister and I amazing service as well! Our family loves Porto's! 🫶🏻😊“

“We were able to do the northern lights dinner, which is very difficult to get a reservation for so we were blessed. We really enjoyed the evening and the service and the food was excellent. I give a four because the first three courses were just sublime, but that final entrée seemed to me to not be as good as the first three but it was delicious, just not as scrumptious as the first three courses. These special dinner events are a you must try and I love everything that Nonna Mercado serves.“
