They didn’t but ownership was so kind and empathetic that they handed over a fresh and delicious piece of tomato focaccia for my troubles. That’s what’s called unreasonable hospitality. Thank you guys, that was incredibly sweet of you and it brightened my day.“

“Attended this restaurant for a late lunch. I enjoyed my time dining, very clean, they play Korean music. Definitely a place to bring friends or family to share food portions, I feel as if the price is justified due to the portion. Food + Drink about $40 per person. Soju berry highball is the perfect sweetness. Will come back to show my family this place 😄I really liked the kimchi! 4100 isn't a typical spot for me on a Sunday, but it definitely will be now that I know Nugtown will be there.

I've worked in the service industry and done local food reviews for 10 years across Detroit, Denver, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles. This is one of the standout spots, hands down. That is saying A LOT.

Hand battered chicken, everything made to order, and Mike will let you know exactly what you need without trying to upsell and swindle you.

I take my food, specifically fried chicken, very seriously and there is not one thing that I could suggest to improve. I can't wait to tell everybody!

“Got to sample the food when they were a vendor at the Afro-Latinx festival event at the MOLAA earlier this year. As I trying to determine which food vendor to support as I wanted to sample food that was reflective of the event. He didn’t have his menu prominently available so I had to asked him what he was selling, he said the magic word oxtail and I was sold. Food was delicious and there sadly was no leftovers, as I scraped it clean. Not the cheapest but the food was tasty to justify, as well as the drink/juice. Definitely would recommend and would want to try the other dishes.“

“I usually get the chicken here when I crave something delicious! The lemon pepper is awesome and the spicy has a hell of a kick! My niece and nephew when they come over always beg me to pick up from here. The woman behind the counter, Luna, always greets me with a smile and a cheerful attitude. Quite rare these days! If you ever come here, you won’t be disappointed.“

“The food is just absolutely amazing. You feel like you’re eating at family’s house because you can taste the time, effort, and love that goes into cooking every single thing. But I’ll tell you, it’s Robert Earl’s wife that’s the featured item here. She is genuinely sweet and caring and truly wants you to love their food. We enjoyed talking to her during our visit. The portions here are massive. You’ll definitely get your money’s worth, believe that. Overall, great place, and I wish I lived closer. I wonder if they could deliver to the east coast? Haha!“

“Delicious fried chicken, waffles and sweet syrup. I'm picky about fried chicken, but this was great. Their French fries are excellent, lightly crispy, still soft inside. And I feel safe in the restaurant with 20+ security cameras and a guard near the entrance.“
