“I completed an online order the day before Christmas eve. I was expecting to wait in a very long line. Other than parking which I found in the next parking lot which was not bad. I was literally in and out in 15 minutes it was amazing. AND I was able to order additional items to my order in a specific cashier, and that was amazingly efficient as well....the quality is not only good but the man/woman power they had up there is a well oiled machine! Kudos for an amazing efficient system that not only makes the customer happy, but has calm employees handle everything with a team oriented approach. It was beautiful!!!! Amazing job everyone Merry Christmas!!!“

“Great ambiance and amazing food. I had a lot of food… falafel, spicy hummus, kafta kabob, tzatziki loaded with veggies, cheese balls, and baklava. All so delicious and fresh. I even loved the fresh pita and dipping sauce that was complimentary. From the manager and many servers, everyone was pleasant and friendly throughout my time there. I went during happy hour so the specials were great during that time. I’m definitely returning to this Mediterranean restaurant for sure. I loved it.“

“I've been going to Pieloon for a few years now and it is THE BEST restaurant in Downey! The food is always fabulous, the portions are large, the service is perfect! I've had appetizers, salads, pastas, steaks, burgers, sandwiches (I'm addicted to the BLT) and many of their specials. My family and I go now 2x a week and have trouble deciding what to get because it's all so good! And the pies...their pumpkin pie is the best I've ever had and the blueberry cheesecake is fabulous...but just wait until fresh peach pie season...I'll gain weight just thinking about it...the fresh peach is the best pie I've ever, EVER had! I love this place and the people who work there!! They're like family now!“

I have spent a few lunch breaks in this place without disappointment. Oh, and by the way, did I mention they serve good tarter sauce and malt vinegar with the plates? If you love fish and chips, come to this place.“

“Ordered pick-up because my mom loves Mediterranean food and this place was near the hospital she was staying at. They had the food ready by the time I walked down from the hospital room to my car. The order was put together and ready by the time I got there. The person who welcomed me was super nice and patient with me. It took me 15 minutes to get there and 15 minutes to drive back to the hospital, and the food was still warm. My mom enjoyed the wrap and the ice cream. I think this meal was the most she had eaten during her entire stay in the hospital. We will 100% be eating here again!“

“This place is super underrated! I was stopping through for a late night bite and received A DELIGHT!!!

I stopped through on my way home from San Diego. My pizza was made within 10 minutes of ordering. I ordered 2 short rib empanadas as well. Everything was so flavorful! I think this place should ALWAYS have a line! I hope that with this review, that changes.

“I ordered chicken Tom Yum and a side of rice, (paid extra to add shrimp to my soup) via UberEats. The soup itself has amazing flavor! Fresh ingredients. I would have given this restaurant 5 stars had it not been for the fact that I received 1 shrimp when I paid extra to have shrimp added. If it's a case of $1 PER shrimp, this needs to be clearly addressed in the ordering options so we can add more than just one.
Apart from this, the food is excellent, and they even included the thai chilis I requested on the side.
I would order again. Please fix either the pricing or the portions. Thank you!!!!“

“We've tried a lot of sushi spots in the Downey area and this one has proved to be a consist favorite. The staff is incredibly friendly and the food is always delicious. We're working our way through the whole menu and we've yet to find a roll we didn't love. Wonderful!“

“My husband and I were struggling to find a dinner option last night and we landed on trying this place for the first time. I'm pleasantly surprised and we'll definitely be coming back! We did pickup, but the restaurant is very clean and cute. The staff was super friendly on the phone and at the counter. We both ordered the Pad Thai with chicken and shrimp. I couldn't help myself and finished the whole plate, which could have easily been two servings. Definitely a new favorite and a great quick dinner or lunch option.“
