I even loved the fresh pita and dipping sauce that was complimentary. From the manager and many servers, everyone was pleasant and friendly throughout my time there. I went during happy hour so the specials were great during that time. I’m definitely returning to this Mediterranean restaurant for sure. I loved it.“

“I've been going to Pieloon for a few years now and it is THE BEST restaurant in Downey! The food is always fabulous, the portions are large, the service is perfect! I've had appetizers, salads, pastas, steaks, burgers, sandwiches (I'm addicted to the BLT) and many of their specials. My family and I go now 2x a week and have trouble deciding what to get because it's all so good! And the pies...their pumpkin pie is the best I've ever had and the blueberry cheesecake is fabulous...but just wait until fresh peach pie season...I'll gain weight just thinking about it...the fresh peach is the best pie I've ever, EVER had! I love this place and the people who work there!! They're like family now!“

“Went here for the graduation special- free sushi plate and agua Fresca when you bring 2 others. All the food was delicious and it was surprisingly quick to arrive at the table. They have free tostadas and chiles to munch on. Definitely coming back here, everything was so yummy and there were so many other thing on the menu I want to try. The servers were super nice. I would have given this restaurant 5 stars had it not been for the fact that I received 1 shrimp when I paid extra to have shrimp added. If it's a case of $1 PER shrimp, this needs to be clearly addressed in the ordering options so we can add more than just one.
Apart from this, the food is excellent, and they even included the thai chilis I requested on the side.

Gloria’s Cocina Mexicana was a fantastic find! The best part is that it’s not touristy at all — a local friend recommended it, and when we arrived, the place was full of locals, which is always a great sign.

The food was truly authentic Mexican cuisine, with huge portions and very reasonable prices. Everything we ordered was delicious and full of flavor.

The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better.

“One of my and my wife's favorite places recently closed down. At this place they served really good breakfast burritos. So when I ordered one here I had low expectations but I'm glad I ordered it. It was big enough for my wife and I to share and it tastes great we got all 3 meats in there and it was very filling. I got some pico de Gallo on the side and it took it to another level.
