“We visited for the first time on Mother’s Day. LOVE that they take reservations and we were able to choose between dining room or patio. There was a DJ and the moms in our party were given fresh cut roses. Our hostess was very knowledgeable and arranged a special mocktail for my sister who is nursing. Portions were very generous, everything was tasty, great value and experience. This will be our new tradition.“

“The food is always great, I was shocked to see bad reviews because we’ve never had bad food here and order a big variety. The wait staff is always great, and a side note I loved seeing the owners son there, he kept locking the door and it was cracking us up because we also have an autistic son absolutely obsessed with locking doors non stop, seriously for Christmas we just got him a bunch of locks and keys 😂

“Nash's Restaurant Review I haven't been to Nash's in years, it was always a place where you could get a satisfying dish of food with a nice atmosphere. On this day, Nash's was hopping and busy with every table filled with happy customers. The wait was not long to be seated, once I received my menu with a 4 min wait my order was taken, in no time my plate arrived. My waitress Amy, was friendly and had a patient personality and excellent interpersonal skills, responded to all my questions about the breakfast menu. I ordered the half plate of Carnitas Benedict, that came with one poached egg on an English muffin with carnitas, avocado and dice tomatoes, all topped off with their delicious house verde sauce with a bit of cilantro, my choice of side was their hash browns, in my opinion "The Best Hash Browns In Chico" Nash's was just like I remember, really good food with a great staff. I highly recommend you stop in for a bite to eat and try the Carnitas Benedict Breakfast. I will definitely be visiting Nash's more often. All in all I'll give that visit a 5 Star Rating.“

“They have a section on their breakfast menu where you select one item from 3 of 4 boxes for seniors, alot of variety, good price, it includes coffee too. The veggie omelet, mushrooms, onions and peppers, it was delicious, ground round patty fine, pancakes so big and fluffy 😋, their sausage is excellent. Great service too.“

“I rode my Schwinn Corvette Beach Cruiser Bicycle when my buddy: Izzy Taylor gave me, and he gave me my Ape Handle Bars for my bike. I brought my bike inside of Oasis Bar and Grill and I park my bike in the back & I having my glass of Coke and Basket French Fries 🍟 and Cheeseburger 🍔. “Kind of sad when a business faith is dictated by reviews dating years and years ago. Kind of like herpes, if I may, they never seem to disappear, specially when said reviews are detrimental and no longer apply to the present.
Finally I went to this poorly rated establishment for their Taco Tuesday Special at $1.25 each.
I should add that previously someone brought to our place the Monday Special, Burger night, which at this day and age must admit was unbeatable and rather tasty. The kind of special that defies all odds. Also, previously as well had their Wednesday Chicken Wings Special. That one, sadly, a fiasco. Super dry wings, devoid of all appeal, but for the money the quantity was decent.
Anywho, Tackle Box simply rocks, and from the looks it distinguished itself as a truly unique scene. Staff reeked of good manners and friendly demeanor, which I must confess, truly appreciate. The shower singer in me wanted to get up on their stage and make a fool out of myself. The square footage truly mind altering, and the one question nagging me was: why the few and not so good comments? The bar alone is quite a sight!
Tacos: small but loaded, easy to devour but please no less than 6, or will wish it had been. Salsa, meats, sauce, not shabby at all. Staff, as happily mentioned, nice as can be. Restroom particularly clean and originally decorated. Heard Happy Hour beers run for $4 a piece? If so, it would take quite a few to tune ? up.
I thank the good man that drove us there. Karaoke Night Sundays? Buzzed enough I see no reason why I would not make a fool out of myself, God knows over the years I repeatedly have in good fun. Johnny Rivers “Poor Side of Town” seems about right. Tackle Box is an original, and from what I heard, the ownership which dates back and crew deserve plenty of recognition. 1 star 6 years ago, 10?

“Okay it’s an Applebee’s so my expectations were moderate. I had looked at the menu online so I could opt for light options as I wasn’t super hungry but meeting others for dinner. My companion and I chose the $36 special for two. I took the salmon and he took the chicken. The other two took the same special with one also trying the chicken and one the steak. For our appetizer we chose caesar salad with dressing on the side. They chose the onion rings.
First off the salmon and chicken were delicious and we left feeling like we scored eating healthy meals! Our dining companions let us sample the onion rings and they were AWESOME! Truly some of the best because they were hot and crisp! We held ourselves to one as they are caloric as heck!
All food except the steak was delicious. The steak was sent back and a better one received in about 10 minutes and it was good!
Good service. Good margaritas and quiet for a Friday post happy hour!

You know the ones, with the iceberg lettuce and the bread that tastes like nothing. You want a MANS SANDWICH. You’re not walking around on your twinkly toes. “1. I loved their veggie sandwich. I love that they don't melt the dang cheese in that focaccia bread sandwich. Melting that cheese reduces a sandwich to just cheese flavors. This one was great without melted cheese.
2. They could have asked for style of grilling on burger patty. But even medium was good and tasty burger.
3. Their regular fries were great. Thin and crunchy.
4. They also have nice patio.

We both ordered steaks and they were good cuts of meat, but a little overcooked for both our requests but not enough to send them back. Ordered one cocktail and it was very tasty. Service was good, but could have been more attentive but no issues with the service we did receive. We would likely go back for happy hour and give that a try in the bar versus another full meal in the dining room.“

My drink was perfect, but I wasn't a fan of the fries. I'm not sure if it was just old oil. But they just didn't taste great. I did eat them, and I was full when I got done. Behavior that was questionable and the staff handled the situation extremely professional and with lots of patience.
