“This shop has so many yummy items. Some are snacks from Thailand while others they make fresh in house. I can't get enough of the bbq pork skewers that they put out around lunch time. Another favor is the coconut jelly. There are a lot of desserts I'm not familiar with so I like trying them all. Nothing disappoints if you're a fan of coconut.“

Prices are a little on the high side, but kudos to them for delivering dishes that actually look like the photos. Therefore, there are plenty of Instagram-worthy items for those looking for that! Good experience, but not necessarily a repeatable one.

(For taste, I do recommend the mango/grape dessert - though that’s not as unique as the other items).“

This is by far the best healthy dessert option out there. Everything is made fresh, using only all-natural ingredients and real fruit. If the fruit isn’t fresh, they won’t serve it—simple as that, and I love that standard.

The coconut jelly is light, refreshing, and absolutely delicious. Service is generally good—can be a bit slow when it’s busy, but totally worth the wait. The Tiffany blue decor and crystal chandeliers give the place a really chic and cozy vibe. Even the packaging is cute, and the little bear spoon is an adorable touch!

Bonus tip: Bring back 10 empty jars and get a free coconut jelly.

“If you’re looking for a delicious matcha yuzu lemonade you have to try theirs. It’s not on the menu so you have to ask the baristas if they can make it. Whenever I go to coffee shops that have yuzu lemonade I always ask if they can add matcha to it. Anko’s is the best!!! Their matcha actually blends with the lemonade. I tried the matcha, chocolate, and durian flavors and they were all absolutely delicious. The texture of the snow ice was so light and fluffy, it literally melted in my mouth.

I usually want to dress up my overnight oats and found that just oats and almond milk overnight then I add the Kind Dessert granola just before eating and it’s absolutely delicious!!!

And their macadamia almond butter on a slice of toasted French bread is to die for!!!“

We tried two taiyakis and an upside-down soft serve with black sesame filling (ube + matcha swirl). Highly recommend going for the swirl when it’s available—it’s such a good balance of flavors. The black sesame taiyaki was delicious, but the green matcha custard could’ve used a stronger matcha flavor. Overall, a fun and satisfying dessert stop I’d come back to!“

Since I happened to be in Old Town Pasadena, and discovered there was one. It's not on the main strip so I almost missed it.

Food:
Cream puff (original) - this was the item that I wanted to try out since it's their main seller. I expected the puff to be softer with a crunchy outer shell but it was harder than I expected. It was delicious though. The cream is slightly sweet which I like. I hate super sweet cream.
Honey butter puff - the second item I tried. Not a bad combo, but original still is better.

There are more flavors but I wanted to try the puffs as they are and not too overloaded with macha, chocolate, etc.. flavors.

Repeat: only for the original puff with the vanilla filling (original filling). It is pricey but once in a while is ok.“

Only odd thing is that on Google Maps the name is Mr. Steve donuts but in person it’s JNJ donuts so not sure what that’s about but overall it’s a great place! I got there glazed, donut twist, and they’re hot dog, which were both super good and packed with flavor!“
