“Cute dessert spot that feels reminiscent of classic HK/TW dessert shops. We came on a Saturday night and were seated right away—no wait. It’s largely a self-service experience (ordering straight from the menu and servers are basically just runners).

Prices are a little on the high side, but kudos to them for delivering dishes that actually look like the photos. Therefore, there are plenty of Instagram-worthy items for those looking for that! Good experience, but not necessarily a repeatable one.

(For taste, I do recommend the mango/grape dessert - though that’s not as unique as the other items).“

“Taiyaki is bomb and a great deal and I would give them 5 stars just for that. Usually just get the cheese. Service is also amazing, the shop owner is super sweet and once asked if I wanted a plastic bags to put all my things I was carrying. She won me over from that but we do frequent this place often just for the taiyaki. Bingsu is good on a hot day as well. Every time I'm at the mall my wife makes me come here to get taiyaki. Very simple and well made.“

“As a Vietnamese person, che is something that reminds you of childhood. Dont get me wrong though, there was no nostalgia in assessing how amazing the che’s were. My wife who is not Vietnamese also was incredibly happy.

We bought the special and the avocado Che. I literally couldn’t have been happier. We got it to go and they gave us ice with them to fill later. The ice is perfect size for the Che.

The palm sugar cake has great chewiness and is not too sweet, also for the price it can’t be beat. If you are into the chewiness of mochi, then this will be enjoyable for you as well!“

I usually want to dress up my overnight oats and found that just oats and almond milk overnight then I add the Kind Dessert granola just before eating and it’s absolutely delicious!!!

“Shoutout to Sergio, he was manning the whole store on a Saturday evening, all by himself and had an excellent attitude and disposition towards customer service. I used to go to the UCI location when I lived in OC, and this location is just as great as that one. The ice cream is excellent, the cookies are warm and have the right amount of chewiness, and the portions are generous. One of my favorite treats to get. If you ordere after 10pm, through the app, Sergio told me that you can just message them, and they will bring your order to one of the 4 gates (this location is inside USC Village, which closes at 10pm) so you can receive your order regardless. Ambiance was great too. The whole store looked pristine and well kept. 10/10“

The ordering stations sometimes take a while and load slow and orders can take a while to come out. However, once you do get your desserts, there really not much to go wrong. From grass jellies, shaved ice, drinks, egg waffles, etc. they are truly an emporium for Taiwanese desserts! My favorites are the iced grass jelly and red bean shaved ice.“
