“I had the Al Pastor Burrito when the truck was parked outside for lunch. They park the truck outside, on Beverly Blvd and have seating area inside a building. The burrito was good and the salsas were good as well. I was happy with the burrito and felt full after eating it. It was a similar burrito from other truck locations. There wasn't anything special about it, but again it was good.“

“I used to live in HP. My three kids were born here. I haven been here for more than 20 years. I decided to go and explore the city just like used to. So I went to eat at El Gallo Giro and then I went to get a coffee at Cafe My Familia. One or one and half hour later my car was tow. My tacos costed me $ 500.00. I'm not coming back for sure.“

“This company has been so responsive since the very first time I emailed them to request a quote! I cannot tell you what peace of mind that gave me and planning my husband’s birthday party. They are so amazing! Benito arrived early and had the food ready at five minutes before the start time for dinner. He was amazing! He was friendly and greeted all the guests. At the end of the evening he carefully packed up all of the food that was left and brought it inside. All of my guests were super impressed with the food! (The Pastor and Carnitas were my personal favorites). All of the food was excellent and the ingredients tasted fresh. The meat they had was seriously the best meat that I’ve had from a taco stand in a long time. I went with the traditional five meats, and paid extra and got Carnitas and jumbo lime shrimp. The price was great and the quality was even better! I will definitely be using them again anytime I need a catering. This was for my husband‘s birthday party and we had about 45 guests and I had tons of food left over and everybody ate a lot at the party.“

“I recently had my wedding at Wedgewood Wedding Rio Hondo in Downey in May, after a year of meticulous planning with their team. I am delighted to give the venue a 4-star rating. The sales and planning coordination team were exemplary, especially David and Tamica, who were consistently responsive through email and communication.The venue itself is stunning, and May proved to be the perfect time for a wedding. We chose Wedgewood Rio Hondo primarily due to its convenient location and its nearly all-in-one solution. While I had to handle many wedding details myself, the ability to choose from a selection of vendors within a single package was a significant advantage.David, our coordinator, was exceptional. He made the entire process stress-free and even assisted with my bridal veil hair accessory, which was a thoughtful touch.The only slight downside was the reception. Our guests experienced a longer wait for their food, and the taste was somewhat mediocre, despite opting for duel plated meals.Overall, I give Wedgewood Wedding Rio Hondo a solid 4/5, largely due to the outstanding efforts of David and the rest of the sales and coordination team.“
“We had THE most excellent experience with Marbled LA for a large scale event at the Forum. It was a new experience for us having to feed so many crew members, working around union scheduling requirements, etc - and Tro & his team were just fantastic along the way! Super flexible and accommodating when we had last minute adjustments. The spread they put out for staff each day was fantastic... well-rounded meals, a huge assortment of snacks & drinks and more! “My friend and I heard about a special type of chili Relleño that was topped with a walnut sauce and pomegranate seeds. It is called chili en nogada. They have it here, and it was spectacular. The special ingredients compliment each other. The staff were all so pleasant and helpful. We sat outside where they have a beautiful garden with fruit trees. including pomegranate, passion, and avocados. I've added a picture of the chili cut in half. Must try!“

“The service was VERY friendly. My server, and several others, greeted me with genuine smiles. Started with Warak Enab Dolma/Sarma (stuffed grape leaves), which were excellent. They are the non-vinegar type which I much prefer, firm with plenty of rich olive oil. Then the Sea Bass entrée. Two full filets traditionally seasoned, a large salad, and potatoes. The tomatoes are perfect! Beautiful tea service. Very quaint atmosphere, friendly staff with genuine smiles, everything well presented. Will definitely be back. FYI: Ample free parking on the roof, enter on Western Ave (Petco).“

“I really love smash burgers but I don't eat non Kosher beef and frequent vegan restaurants for their cleanliness. Its really difficult to make a non vegan smash burger taste good.Their original was insanely delicious and filling. It was the perfect amount of food. And the service was really fantastic. They efficiently answered all of my questions, they comped me fries when the folks in front of me were taking way too long to order.Additionally there's a chef there that looks like she's Angela Ye and she IS NOT having it.10 out of 10 recommend.“

“We have been eating at el capitans taco truck for yrs now and they are really good..Sux that the prices when up.. use to get 30 tacos for 15 bucks now it cost 25.50.. and Carne asada is 1 dollar.. they've been saying that the Cost of meat has gone up.. that was a yr ago.. I think it's B.S. but they still good :) Buche and chorizo are really good!!“
