“Been good things about this place so decided to give it a shot. Interior was very nice and clean. My wife mentioned it was great for a date place. Food was fresh and reasonable prices. We had dinner ala cart. There is an option for lunch menu for dinner for 2 dollars more which is a good deal or5 dollars more you can get soup egg roll and shrimp appetizers with al cart. Service was fast and pleasant. I would recommend giving it a try if like Chinese food.“

“Kind, helpful people, amazing fresh food! They hand make the chicken salad so I try to call before I get there to give them time. They are amazing.

Dietary restrictions: They work so hard to meet all my difficult allergies. They are always so kind.

Kid-friendliness: They are awesome and will not cook up your human or animal children.“

“The guy that rang up our orders was cool but the girl that called our name to come get our food seemed grumpy and it is so freaking expensive we spent over$60 on 2 hot sandwiches which were so good but pretty small I was not full or even close and we got a Fuji apple salad which again was pretty small and the apples were like apple chips they were not fresh but the salad was still really good and then we got 2 large pomegranate habiscus teas so we paid almost $70 and didn't get full and didn't have left overs“

“Some of the best Mexican food you will find in San Diego (which is saying a lot). Extensive menu, which has a lot of lamb items, but also vegatarian options. The flavors are amazing, and it is clear they use very fresh ingrediants. Personal favorites: Green pozole, squash blossom quesadilla, enchiladas with mole sauce.“

This is a Hidden Gem+ first time here and already loving it.
Very friendly staff, very very clean, and the atmosphere makes you feel like I'm in a very expensive place.

The food was awesome, the coco shrimp was really good, the mixed fried rice was AWESOME, the beef noodles is good while it's hot. The spicy dumplings... Yeah that was very spicy but good.

Over all, yes I recommend this spot to anyone.“

“Fast, Friendly, and Amazing. Don’t know how else to describe Golden Bay. Staff is kind and inviting. We received our appetizer and drinks fast. We ordered the Mongolian beef and Salt and Pepper chicken wings. The wings were moist, crunchy and packed with flavor. The Mongolian beef was soft but easy to tear. We order some fried rice on the side but we were so stuffed we decided to take it home. The portions were large and were more than enough for 2 people.“

I've been coming here since I was a kid and it still feels the same today as it did back then. It's a small, cramped Chinese/ Vietnamese restaurant with a lousy parking lot. Service is minimal but the new staff friendly enough. There was auntie in the corner speaking loudly on her FaceTime call while making dumplings. Felt just like home.

There are about 10 tables inside and the menu has a variety of Chinese inspired dishes.

The must get here is definitely the egg noodles with wonton and char sui.

We tried the specialty honey walnut shrimp and it was a let down. Soggy shrimp with very little sauce.

The fried chicken leg was crispy and savory and the fried rice was very yummy. Definitely recommend these 2 dishes and the egg noodles!

Overall this place offers a lot of value, but I would stick with the fried rice or noodles dishes. Good lucking finding parking!“

“I came to this place for lunch and it was a great decision. I liked the chicken soup and the pasta. I would especially like to mention that we had a wonderful waitress. She is really great, she paid us enough attention and I am very satisfied with the service and communication with the girl. She made our lunch even more enjoyable. “I got the #8- Rare steak Pho, it was hands down some of the best I’ve ever had. Big portion. Delicious broth. Generous amount of steak. Generous amount of toppings including large stocks of mint, jalapenos, juicy limes, and sprouts. On top of that, a manager/owner type gentlemen made his rounds checking in with new customers asking how it all was- he was very sweet & sincere.. we told him how much we loved the Pho to which he replied, “I made it with all my heart!”.. now that was icing on the cake! Thank you!“

“Crab Pub is the best! I’ve spent years going to Crab Hut but it’s been getting so expensive. I found Crab Pub literally a few days after they opened and been going ever since. I recommend then to everyone. You won’t be disappointed. Only thing they don’t have is corn bread but it’s ok!“

“The food is amazing, after I found this restaurant it became my go to place for Chinese food! It is a popular place and their small staff can get overwhelmed sometimes, and cause a wait, but it is always worth it!

I highly recommend stopping here if you are in town, if they are busy, that are worth the wait!“
