Soup near El Cajon

“We have eaten here multiple times and have never been disappointed. This time around we ordered 81. General Tao's Chicken, 37. Assorted Wonton Soup, and the 21. Egg Roll (4). My wife was feeling under the weather and the soup brightened her mood. She said it was exactly what she needed. The egg rolls were crisp and fresh. General Tao's Chicken was absolutely delicious. There are chilies in the dish. So, be aware if you are spice averse.

I highly recommend eating in person as well. It's a very nice restaurant and a great place to go for a midweek meal as well as special occasions.

“I don't usually do franchises or change Panera bread here Panera bread there it's all the same to me. I just signed up for the sleep club taking advantage because I drive over 50 hours a week and I'm always on the road it's nice to have a clean restroom and a coffee with great bakery always nearby.
However this review goes out to an amazing individual that works at this Panera bread. That's Superstar name is Gage. The four or five times that I've been here I've seen her at least three or four times and has always been amazing very welcoming very comforting and extremely sweet. I have interacted with other individuals however I strongly believe this is the type of individual that needs to train and lead your team training on a national level.
Congrats Panera you have won my business and no not because of the amazing sick club or your fantastic breads but because of a certain individual that stands out with her amazing attitude and demeanor.“

“This place is so good. The food is fresh and hot. Most of all delicious. I enjoy the salt and pepper nuggets and hit and sour soup but other family members enjoyed the orange tofu. Oh and the Thai tea was yummy too. I am so glad to have this spot in my neighborhood. Its a bit warm in the restaurant but that's cause the kitchen is open and very busy.“

“I came to this place for lunch and it was a great decision. I liked the chicken soup and the pasta. I would especially like to mention that we had a wonderful waitress. She is really great, she paid us enough attention and I am very satisfied with the service and communication with the girl. She made our lunch even more enjoyable. “Crab Pub is the best! I’ve spent years going to Crab Hut but it’s been getting so expensive. I found Crab Pub literally a few days after they opened and been going ever since. I recommend then to everyone. You won’t be disappointed. Only thing they don’t have is corn bread but it’s ok!“

“Our group of 9 experienced outstanding service from start to finish. Even thought OG doesn't take reservations, they encouraged me to call a few hours ahead so they could prepare for us. Sure enough, they had a lovely almost private table set and ready when we arrived. Everyone - from the greeters to our server were very prompt and attentive. “This review is based on a vegetarian dining experience. While Panda Country doesn’t offer alternative proteins like some other Asian restaurants (mock duck/chx/beef), I always prefer a mix of different vegetables and tofu anyways.

I’ve noticed that some San Diego Chinese restaurants offer fried wonton strips and sauce for appetizer; I thought it was an east coast US thing but we enjoyed them nonetheless. The mustard was odd though, tasted more like horseradish. The plum sauce was good.
Service was a bit slow tonight (Monday) but it was busy and it seemed like only 1-2 people running the whole operation. Staff was very courteous and apologizing for wait times but none of that concerned us. They were being as efficient as they could be. And I grew up dining in Chinese restaurants where staff basically ignored you the whole time.

My husband and I usually order the eggplant and green beans to go and they’re always good. This was our first time dining in and we tried the orange tofu and family style tofu. Sauces were light and flavorful——definitely not catering to heavy salty American taste which I prefer. I can understand why some Americans eat at chains like Panda Express and Pick UP Stix and still add soy sauce to their entrees (insane?!?). But we didn’t get that vibe from this restaurant.

We both left full and including tax and tip under $32. My only suggestion would be to add a vegetable to the orange tofu, like broccoli. Not only did it look kind of sad on the plate just by itself, it would have been a nice healthy filler to complement the tofu.
