I’m a huge fan of Som Tum, and they make it exactly the way I like it so flavorful, fresh, and absolutely delicious! The Thai ramen is also really good and definitely worth trying.

This has easily become one of my favorite places for Thai food. I highly recommend this restaurant! If you haven’t tried it yet, you definitely should. You won’t be disappointed! ❤️🇹🇭“

“I’m not a huge fan of Korean food but this place was amazing. Really nice if you come with friends to try a lot of dishes. We had bossam and oxtail soup and Korean pancake along with bulgogi in stone pot.

The side dishes were good and it was nice they had the World Cup on. Would come again, just parking can vary in that lot but that’s most of the area“

“I’ve tried quite a few Korean spots in San Diego, and Song Hak is definitely one I’d come back to.

Their Korean food is really good overall, but the stone pot bibimbap was probably my favorite. It came out super hot, and I loved how the rice at the bottom got crispy from the stone bowl. Mix everything together with the sauce and it’s just so comforting and satisfying.

Everything we ordered tasted fresh and flavorful, and it honestly felt like one of those meals where you keep eating even when you’re already full 😂

“This restaurant came highly recommended and it did not disappoint. I tried the Roast Duck Noodle Soup and Walnut Shrimp. The duck was really delicious with a very nice broth. Every bite was a delight. I enjoyed the shrimp - plump and juicy with a lightly citrus white sauce and roasted walnuts. I would order it again, but there are a lot of items on their extensive menu that I would also like to try. Very nice, low key service. Clean and pleasant dining room.“

“BEST JAPANESE BBQ SPOT EVER! My family have been consistently coming to this resturant for years to celebrate any special occasions or birthdays. The meat, rice, side dishes, and rice are always delicious. The staff are welcoming, accomodating, and even recognize my family now. I highly reccomend the family combo as it offers a good balance of beef variety and value, especially for larger parties. The portions are not the largest and on the pricier side but I think it's worth it for the quality over quantity. Free parking but it's difficult to find available spots especially at night, as expected of Convoy tho. The restroom is nothing special, single room, and in the back next to the kitchen. Will definitely continue to eat here !!“

“I love their bright, modern-minimalist interior! They have comfy chairs and booths with a nice assortment of plants for decor. I enjoyed a wonderful lunch here (highly recommend the chipotle chicken Gouda panini—so delicious!!). I appreciate how this bistro is very affordable, especially compared to other places, while maintaining superior quality of food. Honestly one of the better paninis I’ve had, and at a much cheaper price! Service with a smile here; the staff are so friendly.“

Also, I want to share that in a half-asleep stupor, I completely forgot to mention in the instructions to make my Pad Thai vegan and ended up receiving it with eggs. To my surprise, they kindly offered to make me a vegan one at no charge! Also, when I went to return the original one, the vegan one was already ready!—So fast!

“I’ve been going to lestats since I was just a child really. I haven’t been since 2018 maybe when we moved. But I can tell you I’ve known horrible humans in my life not by choice. But fate led me to John a sweet gay man who ran a 24/7 coffee house. And I’ve loved coffee since age 5. When times were hard a lonely girl could get a hot cup of coffee and use the wifi even and hang out. John took in many of us. I was one of the pre 98-2006 post crew that practically lived here. Idk why John never charged us rent he truly should’ve! Hell he probably could’ve for our cars even. I was pregnant here. They fed me when I was hungry. They kept us warm in the cold months. Lestats was always a shelter in the storm we call life. I was but a passenger for a while. John let me park my Honda accord out back for some time when an alternator wasn’t the only problem even. When I think of angels and I think of gods I think of folks like John. They gave us life without even knowing it. My daughters 20 this year and we’re both alive because of John’s goodness and kindness he has a huge heart most have no clue. He’s just the sweetest man. He was a woven interact part of my life. He’s one of those people who is why I am here today. Because when I needed a safe place in the storm we call life. I could lean on Lestats and John. Whom I knew well. To think my neighbor would lead me here he worked there eventually and was a lady’s man 😂 Travis was his name and I laugh cuz I knew that boy from just a little boy. To see him become a man and even a dad around when I was a mom. Seemed then something was surely in the water 😂 or so we’d all joked. Maybe it was just knowing we had a safe place to land for awhile that truly helped us all survive. But a huge part of that was John! So thank you John. Idk if you remember me or not. But I was that blonde girl with short hair and a damaged heart. 90s-2006 was my life there then I’d come when I was in town very rare then. But I always loved your veggie chili and your sandwiches. And the coffee ☕️ gosh if I miss anything from San Diego it’s Lestats and their amazing teas and coffee and food. Because when I had no home even I always had a safe place to go when the storm of life was crushing me. I met a boy in 2006 and disappeared really. But John was always like family for me. So I wanna thank him for being the light in the dark for a young street kid. Who didn’t have much but I always had enough for a cup of coffee and some safe space to enjoy it. I know it’s been 20 yrs because my baby is 20 now. But we wouldn’t be here without John. Thank you for being a safe place for us in life’s storms.“

“My son took me out for my birthday. He had the staff sing me happy birthday and brought me a very good piece of chocolate cake. Very smooth and delicious. I had the chicken alfredo, very delicious. “Wicked West is a multi purpose venue for a good time. They have a great bar with great bartenders. We've had a few parties there and always had a great time. Also they have a in door area and outdoor area for private events. It's spacious and has great decor.“

“Crab Pub is the best! I’ve spent years going to Crab Hut but it’s been getting so expensive. I found Crab Pub literally a few days after they opened and been going ever since. I recommend then to everyone. You won’t be disappointed. Only thing they don’t have is corn bread but it’s ok!“

“My first time going here in September 2025 was so awesome, booked a trip again in November 2025 just to eat here again. Ok, I lied. I did not book the 2nd trip just to eat here but we did eat here twice when we went back to San Diego.

It's that good. Prices are reasonable, portions are amazing! So much food relative to the price. It's very delicious. We got the spicy crispy chicken (forgot what's it called), spicy fried fish, spicy lamb/beef dish with cilantro and dumplings. Everything was so good. I'm from Massachusetts and I thought this was one of the best Sichuan food I've had.

We're planning on going back whenever we're back in town.“

“This place has been around for a few decades it is a unique Chinese food place .
Highly recommend the wonton soup
And the Chinese combination.
The interior of the place is not too eye appealing, the bathrooms should be better
but the owner doesn't want to invest in a nicer appealing bathroom.
As for prices they can be pricey but they have a lunch special if you are tight on a budget.
As for service depending on the day you go it could be anywhere from server to more servers on busier days.
As for parking it is free and there are plenty of spots to park. They are closed on Mondays..“

“It had been a while since I've visited an olive garden. It was very good. Complimentary soup/salad and bread sticks are always great. Staff was attentive and helpful. The food came out timely and was hot. The atmosphere was calm and quiet, it was easy to have a conversation without yelling or straining to hear. You can tell that it's not a new building but the place was clean and taken care of. I like that you can pay with card at the table and don't have to wait for anyone to bring the check.“

“The store was not at all busy when we went during dinner hour. We were surprised. Perhaps it the location—it's in the parking lot of a hotel. Our food came out practically immediately. The dining area and restrooms were visibly clean.

Overall, I don't recommend Panera (the chain) due to multiple locations messing up my orders numerous times, which is concerning because my order is always flagged and modified for allergies. So I didn't even bother ordering and eating here, but the rest of my group enjoyed their food.“
