“Kind, helpful people, amazing fresh food! They hand make the chicken salad so I try to call before I get there to give them time. They are amazing.
Dietary restrictions: They work so hard to meet all my difficult allergies. They are always so kind.
Kid-friendliness: They are awesome and will not cook up your human or animal children.“

“Casual hangout with good WiFi and no one rushing you out the door. I got the annual rate on the sip club membership and Panera Bread is my go to place for casual hangouts with friends or family and low key business meetings and studying or even a quick pit stop when I am out and about.“

“Legit!! Had the shrimp and pork dumplings, chili wontons, scallion pancake beef roll, spicy cucumbers, and sauteed broccoli.
New owners were super nice. Only feedback is that the acoustics are rough - it's loud in there.“

“This restaurant provides a consistently great experience every time I visit. The food is always fresh, tasty, and well-prepared, with balanced flavors that suit a wide range of preferences. The service is quick, efficient, and very polite. The restaurant itself is clean, organized, and comfortable. Whether dining alone or with family, it’s always a satisfying experience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for good food and reliable service.“

“This place is so good. The food is fresh and hot. Most of all delicious. I enjoy the salt and pepper nuggets and hit and sour soup but other family members enjoyed the orange tofu. Oh and the Thai tea was yummy too. I am so glad to have this spot in my neighborhood. Its a bit warm in the restaurant but that's cause the kitchen is open and very busy.“

“Went to dinner with family last night and had amazing experience. We ordered the spring rolls, lemonade, Vietnamese coffee, chicken pho for our kiddo and rare/well done steak for ourselves. Portions are huge, pho is incredibly flavorful, and to this day they serve the best Vietnamese coffee I have tried from any Pho restaurant in SD (and I have tried many)!!! Restaurant was busy (you know it's good when the restaurant be crowded), but they served us fairly quickly and staff were very sweet. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for great Pho place near Spring Valley Area.“

“IDEN WAS GREAT!
My husband and I rolled into Olive Garden on a Friday night with what can only be described as hungry eyes and zero self-control. Luckily, we had Iden as our server. Not only was he on top of every refill, he also kept us laughing the entire time. The guy is kind, sharp, and effortlessly funny. You can just tell he's one of the good ones, out here working his way through college. Iden set the bar ridiculously high and went the extra mile to make our meal extra special.
Thanks for the entertainment, great service and the good laughs. We'll be back sooner than eight years!

“Crab Pub is the best! I’ve spent years going to Crab Hut but it’s been getting so expensive. I found Crab Pub literally a few days after they opened and been going ever since. I recommend then to everyone. You won’t be disappointed. Only thing they don’t have is corn bread but it’s ok!“
“I stopped by today and was very happy with their service and menu items. Irvin, the manager, was kind, answered all of my questions and was very pleasant. I also found out they have pinto beans, which was perfect for my diet. I included them in my burrito to make it healthy. My burrito was fantastic and everything I desired for my Sunday lunch. I highly recommend Nancy’s Taco Shop.“

“Our waiter was amazing and provided excellent service throughout our visit. However, our experience with the host staff was disappointing. The hostesses were unprofessional and unwelcoming when seating us, and it was clear that walking us to our table was an inconvenience.
As we were leaving, we thanked them, but one hostess simply stared at us and rolled her eyes instead of acknowledging us or thanking us for coming in.
If it weren’t for our waiter’s outstanding service, I would not consider returning.“

“For the owner/manager, please respond if seen:
Ordered dinner from here to-go as we live about 25 minutes away. My family ate at Panda Country Restaurant in Clairemont for generations back to my great-grandparents. I so miss the old-school decor with the slanted roof, dark woods, tons of rich artwork everywhere. We were sad and disappointed when they decided to close during covid, although they always seemed to have customers when we went for our to-go orders during that time.
Heard through the grapevine that this restaurant had new ownership in Santee. Noticed in the review photos some of the same artwork, metal kettles of complimentary jasmine tea that came with every order for dine-in, same menu and emblem design.
Ordered some of our “usuals” that I was raised on:
- Orange Chicken - tasted nearly the same as I remember but needs more dried orange peels (they make all the difference!) and they used to put whole red peppers. It was tasty but there needs to be more sauce and the sauce used to be thicker and richer in flavor.
- Almond Chicken - had large zucchini slices which was fine and the chicken was in larger slices than they used to be which used to be more of a strip style. Loved that almonds were in it but they used to put tons of sliced, halved almonds. It came with whole almonds with the skin still on, please remove the skins! Again, there could be more sauce as well as thicker and richer in flavor.
- Mongolian Beef - this probably resembled the most to how I remember this recipe. We have had a hard time finding it with green onions elsewhere, which we love! Onions could be sliced a little smaller and the sauce a little thicker and richer in flavor. But it was good!
- Egg Flower soup - very similar in flavor but needs a little more egg in it and they never used to put corn. There were small bits of corn, not bad, but not what I grew up with and miss. Do not overdo it with the gelatin in making the broth too thick. I saw this in another review too.
I think we will order from here again, but would love to see everything resemble the greatness of what these recipes once were. I think everything could use a little more salt too. Sorry to see that some reviews mentioned undercooked food. The meat all seemed well-cooked for our order, so I hope they have since made changes.
P.S. I didn’t see it on the menu, but PLEASE bring back the Shrimp Toast. Also, the ginger slices in vinegar, red cherry applesauce, and hot mustard if you don’t already still have it. Absolutely LOVED the Shrimp Toast as a little girl.“

“We have eaten here multiple times and have never been disappointed. This time around we ordered 81. General Tao's Chicken, 37. Assorted Wonton Soup, and the 21. Egg Roll (4). My wife was feeling under the weather and the soup brightened her mood. She said it was exactly what she needed. The egg rolls were crisp and fresh. General Tao's Chicken was absolutely delicious. There are chilies in the dish. So, be aware if you are spice averse.
I highly recommend eating in person as well. It's a very nice restaurant and a great place to go for a midweek meal as well as special occasions.
Looking forward to trying other dishes on their extensive menu!“
