“This place was amazing. We came it with a group of 10, and we got set up with a table right away. They got our orders quickly, and then appetizers and food came out just as quick. However, the food was probably the best Korean fried chicken I have had in a long time. The sauce flavors were delicious, chicken was crunchy. Definitely have to try Korean BBQ , Lemon Pepper (dry), and the Sweet Chili Wings. Even the Bulgogi Pizza was great. Great little hole in the wall spot. Entrance is level with sidewalk, so wheelchair can roll right it, and there are a couple tables that can be set up with wheelchair seating. I can not vouch for the restroom as I did not check.“

“We went to Rokka Grill for the first time last night and it was totally worth the drive! Our server, Diana, was top notch! She had a great personality, was VERY knowledgeable about the bar and dinner menu and got things out to us in a timely manner. A couple of us had the Rokka Old Fashioned and let me say that I would go back JUST for that! Luckily for us, our meals were so good, so there's more than one reason to go back. Their bread basket was so good, great variety of breads, our was served with garlic butter (we selected that choice). It was SO good! Everyone ordered different menu items and each of us said “we'll be baaaack!” We were also celebrating a birthday and they brought out a beautiful dessert with a very fun element (I won't say what it was as I wouldn't want to spoil the surprise for the next birthday person). We loved everything about it and look forward to bringing more friends here. Great job Rokka Grill!“

Initially, I was specifically searching for a Marisco (seafood) restaurant, and interestingly enough, this place didn't come up in my search results. However, upon arriving, I was delighted to discover that they did indeed serve delicious seafood.To start off, we tried their margarita flight, and I must say, it was fantastic. The balance of alcohol and flavor was just right, providing a delightful mix of tastes. Both my daughters ordered the Jamaica, and they both gave it a perfect 10 out of 10 rating. It seems like they really nailed the recipe for this drink. Personally, I opted for an horchata, and it exceeded my expectations. Creamy and flavorful, it was truly a treat.Moving on to appetizers, we decided to indulge ourselves with a dozen oysters. They were fresh and absolutely delectable. However, the highlight of the night was the langostinos. Cooked to perfection, these succulent crustaceans were by far our favorite dish. Every bite was bursting with flavor, leaving a lasting impression on our taste buds. The guacamole was nothing short of perfection, perfectly balanced and complementing the dishes wonderfully.What's more, the restaurant also offers an outdoor patio, which was a great addition for us as we had our dog with us. It created a lovely ambiance, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. Additionally, if you happen to visit on a Friday evening, you'll be treated to live music, and on Saturdays, they even have karaoke.All in all, "La Sexy Michelada" exceeded our expectations, and we will definitely be returning. “I’m a fan. Lots of history here. This was also a filming location for the movie Bad Santa. The hotel IS haunted. But I don’t believe it is yet operational again. The Mayan is and it’s a really cool place. The staff is super friendly and engaging as well. Be sure to walk around and check out the pictures on the wall. Yes! They are from the 30s and 40s. Welcome to Old Route 66.“

“We came here on a whim because "the Dive" was packed and we didn't want to wait. We've been here to the Creat few times in thr past and it was good from our past experience. The entrance is at the back, by the parking lot. We came right in and we seated ourselves at the 2nd booth because all the other booths and bar were filled with people. We waited and found out through yelp that you look at the board for a dinner menu and an appetizer menu. It's very simple, steak for $14.99 or burger for $7.49. Cheeseburger is 7.99. The one lady was busy serving and cooking so we ordered with the bartender. It took a while for our food because she's the only one person. We started off with their fried zucchini sticks and they were delicious!! It's far cheaper than any place for fried zucchinis for $4.99 and ut was a giod amount. It came with two ranch dressings for dipping sauce. Soon our steak dinner plate and cheeseburger plate came and we enjoyed both. They have about 7 tvs to watch sports or whatever happens to be on. Both the bartender and the lady server/chef were pleasant to talk to. While I was yelping, I happen to leave my phone at our booth and we paid and left. After an hour later, I had realized my phone wasn't with me so our daughter called them to ask, sure enough they had it to the side for us to pick it up. They're great honest people and I would return any day for a simple meal!! Thanks very much!!“

“Came here yesterday for happy hour with friends. Place is a hidden gem... Plenty of seats available, televisions to watch games, mixed music selection. They have a pool table and karaoke room. “Cool spot we discovered on our way to dinner. The owner was really cool with us. We experienced the early hours: pretty empty, we were able to play pool. Went back after dinner and it was full. There was a cool cover band playing, still great. The drinks are pretty reasonable, ample parking, and cool environment. Check it out!“

“Where do I begin. The bartenders, such kind people. The owners, I had the pleasure of meeting them and they were such a pleasure. The atmosphere is great, the artwork on the walls is nice, well lit outside area with TVs and space heaters so you can have a smoke with your drink, and the spacing of the tables from the pool tables. Was perfect And there's pool tables! Not one or two, enough for there to be competitive and friendly games going on at the same time. They're kept in good condition, proper size. And the patrons are always keeping the juke Jams flowing... 5 stars, 11/10 would recommend.“

“I came here for brunch with my Family on a Saturday at 11am after my son's baseball game. The food was absolutely delicious. The Bolon was? delicious! The Carne Guisado was also soo, so good. I highly recommend you get the salsa picante to add that perfect level of fire to your plate. The atmosphere is a combination of modern and traditional ecuadorean. “This place really has some of the best food in Arcadia. The sandwiches are delicious. Sometimes I drive on over to the golf course just to order a BLT because that's how excellent they are. The hostess is so sweet she always puts a smile on my face too. Just keep in mind they cater to golfers who are looking to slowly unwind and relax. It can get quite busy sometimes so order ahead if you're impatient or short on time.“

Rib Eye was a little too tough and not as thick as my guest was expecting. It wasn't bad yet it wasn't as flavorful as they were hoping for. My medium rare Filet Mignon was just perfect. I had the Stuffed Potato and it was much more flavorful than the baked potato my guest experienced. The ambiance was a little off because it seems the music needs to be fed like a juke box. By the time we left a DJ had been set up to prepare for the Wed evening crowd (?) I've heard great things about this iconic Hacienda Heights restaurant so I'm considering maybe this was an off night and should try again on a Thursday during Lobster night or Saturday evening.“

I have eaten at so many barbecues, but this one's lamb loin, grilled beef skewers, and egg fried rice are delicious and reasonably priced. Since it’s so affordable, I’ll only come here.“

“Poole, was amazing. I am always easy when I pick up food ti go, because restaurants seem to overlook the presentation. BUT THIS PLACE MAMBO first time here at Mambo grill. GRILL did exceed my expectations, first the care they packaged my food with. Everything as neat, and nothing was missing. The meat in the pozole tasted fresh and was tender, something you usually don't get at other places. And the taste was amazing. I love pozole so im often disappointed. But mambo grill will be my to go place if I want home tasting pozole.“

“We came by to support the Jessie Munoz memorial fund show on Sunday. It was a good turnout of metal bands and they also offered free buffet for the event. The inside bar has televisions to watch live sports. The drink prices are reasonable and the service was very good too. “This place is very close to my house. Their wings and french fries plate is affordable and generous and very tasty. It's always served hot. Everything is crunchy and the service is pretty good. I haven't had anybody be rude. You can eat right at the bar. The ambience is nice. It's a giant high ceiling, double room with a stage for karaoke and open high volume restrooms, a front patio area you can eat at if you want to see Citrus as people go by. I enjoy it frequently now. It took me a while to discover it. I can recommend it without any qualms.“

ROOM (guest room & suite)We tried the double queen guest room & a suite.We found both configurations to be comfortably spacious, with a high degree of cleanliness & ample storage for our extended stay. The design of the rooms is generally just really impressive with a lot to appreciate: high-ceilings, a myriad of seating options, great natural+overhead lighting, floor-to-ceiling windows, clear views across the city, blackout curtains ergonomic workspaces, & plush hotel stock.Nothing I can think to complain about... BEDThe mattresses are more soft than firm, which I don't usually enjoy but the bedding was too good to protest. Soft, cozy, clean, & better than most brands with self-described "premium" bedding.One thing I didn't love was the choice of metal/aluminum base; just too noisy & atypical.BATHLavish & indulgent bathroom designs in guest rooms & suites, with some of the most impressive shower installations I've experienced in my last ~70 stays: high quality fixtures, tile, & accents all throughout.No pre-stocked shower sets but there's a plethora of Whish toiletries provided for your convenience. The bath robes are also with the hassle of requesting.Yet It's not without a few flaws: towels are on the smaller side, the water pressure is a bit weak, & the OSFA slippers did not fit me (size 11)TV & ENTERTAINMENT42" LG HD flatscreen on swivel base (guest room) or rotating entertainment center (suite).The entertainment setup in the suite was more fashionable than functional; not as accommodating as the guest room counterpart. Most of the built-in services didn't work & other integrations wouldn't connect. I wish they did less with the set top box because the apps are a hassle.WI-FI & CELL RECEPTIONComplimentary WiFi is unencrypted but performs very well! Solid for work & streaming. It doesn't completely dampen the city noise found in downtown LA (police, ambulance, etc) but it does a good enough job.LOCATIONLots of convenience stores & restaurants within walking distance.There's varying amounts of un-homed that roam in the vicinity but there's a consistent security presence nearby. VERDICTDespite the spa still being (indefinitely) closed, I enjoyed this property WAY more than I expected & extended my stay a number of times. “Our experience was over all amazing. The last time we where their.... It was okay at most but this was back in 2016. The remodeling really help this place out. The food & our waiter was on point. “We are so surprised at this Iguanas restaurant. The location is in a weird part of town and theres not much around. It appears to be a bit ghetto around here. But when we entered iguanas it was actually LIT! They were playing ALL THE OLD SCHOOL R&B. When I heard SILK FREAK ME I damn near lost my mind and began grinding on my wife. The sports bar is cool and has a bunch of televisions with a large bar. We appreciate Mike helping us with six scrumptious steak tacos with chicken and fries. The food was great!!! Thanks Mike.“
