“First time visiting, lived in El Monte for 5 years never knew this place was here; small but spacious nice little diner to come have a meal. I had the French Toast Combo with a large orange juice came out to $22.20. With a $7.80 tip came to $30 flat. Food was fine/delicious, place seemed clean. Lot of help in the kitchen, pretty fast service, no complaints. The atmosphere gives like veterans POW/Elk Lodge/small town/diner vibes, a handful of older(40/50+) dudes, a young teen couple and a family with toddler was here when I sat in at 10am on Wednesday morning. Parking: I was able to find a spot, but it is limited-if busy.“

“The bolo bao ice cream sandwich was the bomb! I had it with ube ice cream. The garlic fries - lots of fresh garlic with a side of bomb lemon aoili and house sauce! The best! Passionfruit green tea was perfect for the hot weather! So cute inside too! It's a smaller space and a one man show. Everything is made fresh so please be patient - it's worth the wait! Great service! It's a hidden gem to the right of BofA in the plaza. — at CrispyandFluffed.“

“I'm new in the neighborhood, from New York. They make great coffee, doughnuts, drinks and sandwiches. The girl was pleasant and spoke politely. The prices are good and this will now be my go to coffee shop. I highly recommend this coffee spot.“

“This Tierra Mia location is super close to my work so I always take the drive thru. Unfortunately the wait is always long and the parking/location area is horrible. Hard to drive in and out on such a busy intersection, with a super tiny lot. However, the horchata drinks that I get are very consistent and delicious, with just the right amount of sweetness in the lattes and frappes. I like the churro muffin as well. Quality is great for to-go, just the wait time can be long.“

“El Monte doesn’t have too many good boba spots, but Ono Tea House is a decent option. Prices here are a little lower than most places, which is nice.
The tea itself is just okay — not super strong — and the drinks can lean on the sweeter side. I usually order mine with 1/4 sugar since I don’t like them too sweet.
Overall, it’s not a spot I’d go out of my way for, but if you’re in El Monte and really craving boba, it does the job.“

“South El Monte has some of the best boba in the world. South El Monte is also home to a lot of Taiwanese boba supplies companies and import so that makes people who start boba shop businesses in the South El Monte an easy access to the materials and that makes it all thrive. When I am not getting the 7Leaves down the street in South El Monte, I would come here to study Mandarin or work on software engineering projects remotely. I think South El Monte has a thriving community of Asian and boba drink lovers. Hello Boba adds another great addition to that one. Another great option is Boba Time which is also right down the same street. I love to get boba and then head to the King Taco place and drink boba with my taco.“

“Since it shares a parking lot with Home Depot, it's super tiny. The patio is always clean, and they have seating. This store is tiny, so it's only for employees you can not sit inside. It's always less crowded after 4 pm. I never wait in a long line. Staff is friendly and nice always.

“It was late Friday night and I was craving a donut. SK Donuts was close by and I stopped in. I bought my favorite chocolate covered custard donut and it was fabulous! So much creamy custard inside and the donut was soft and tasty. I will go back to SK Donuts and try some different types.“

“This place has a great selections of donuts and some pan dulce and they serve cafe de olla as well! Depending on the time you go in the morning there could be a little of a wait since all the early bird gardeners and blue collar workers come here to get their morning fix. Very efficient staff who are pretty friendly and take pride in their work.“

“I wholeheartedly endorse this establishment. It transcends the traditional concept of a donut shop, offering not just a meal, but a complete breakfast experience. The variety is impressive, with an extensive selection of donuts that cater to every palate. But it doesn’t stop at donuts - their menu extends to a wide array of food items, ensuring there’s something for everyone. This place is more than a donut shop; it’s a culinary journey that starts with breakfast.“

“Saw that they were running a promotion for 4 regular sized drinks for $16.50, so I stopped by since I haven't gotten 7 leaves in a long time. This location has a drive through and a dine-in, but the dine-in area looks small.
We didn't want to park so we ordered through the drive through. We got the Mungbean Milk Tea, Sea Salt Jasmine Tea, and the House Coffee. The drinks didn't take long to be ready and the entire drive through process went smoothly. The employees were also friendly and provided good service.
The mung bean milk tea was a bit too sweet for my taste even though I already asked for easy sweet. It still tasted sweet after the ice melted. I don't think I like this drink much anymore. For the sea salt jasmine tea, that was good since the sea salt foam goes well with the tea. The house coffee was just okay since my sister who ordered it isn't a super big fan of coffee.
I think this is a decent drink spot but their menu is a bit limited with not many options. I would rather visit a boba shop that is closer since I'm not really into the drinks here.“
