“The bolo bao ice cream sandwich was the bomb! I had it with ube ice cream. The garlic fries - lots of fresh garlic with a side of bomb lemon aoili and house sauce! The best! Passionfruit green tea was perfect for the hot weather! So cute inside too! It's a smaller space and a one man show. Everything is made fresh so please be patient - it's worth the wait! “I have made boba stops every day this week while I’ve been in LA. I had the strawberry matcha drink. It was decent for what it is but the strawberry that is used seems to be a syrup base which wasn’t my personal preference. Reminded me of what gets used in a McDonalds strawberry sundae.

Again drink was not bad, just wasn’t my personal preference from other strawberry matches he had.

“First time visiting, lived in El Monte for 5 years never knew this place was here; small but spacious nice little diner to come have a meal. I had the French Toast Combo with a large orange juice came out to $22.20. With a $7.80 tip came to $30 flat. Food was fine/delicious, place seemed clean. Lot of help in the kitchen, pretty fast service, no complaints. The atmosphere gives like veterans POW/Elk Lodge/small town/diner vibes, a handful of older(40/50+) dudes, a young teen couple and a family with toddler was here when I sat in at 10am on Wednesday morning. Parking: I was able to find a spot,but it is limited-if busy.“

“I love the smell of boba being made whenever I enter the shop. It’s a small comfy shop with cute plants around. Huge cups. Very friendly. Their boba tastes great. They actually have flavor and taste like they’ve been cooked with brown sugar, not bland at all. Ono Tea House is my favorite!! :^DI’ve been getting boba here about once a month for about a year now.I’ve had their thai milk tea, house milk tea, honeydew green milk tea, guava yogurt, lychee yogurt, strawberry yogurt, and peach yogurt. All yummy! I have ordered in-store and over the phone for pickup. Never had a bad experience so far. :^D“

“Drive thru...blessing. Props to the person who thought about the design replacement of this location it is a drive-through next to a grocery store. What person hasn't woken up early to go groceries and realized OmG I need my coffee and this place is right here! Drivethru was fast and friendly.... I tried the mint Serrano and If you are not a fan of mint don't try it if you are this is delicious and I wish I wouldn't back to get a second one after I was done. It was a perfect combo of sweet savory and foam. As variant plays later when it melted and I actually could have more. Love the freshness of the mint and as I opened it I saw the fresh mint! I will come back again for a revisit
