They offer hot and iced coffee as well as matcha and a few pastries. The owners are extremely kind people who clearly love what they do and it shows. They also give back to the community which speaks volumes. I cannot recommend this cute little coffee truck enough.“

“I was looking for a good taco place and I came across Covyd Tacos on Yelp and decided to try them. Unaware that they were just serving on tables under a shade during the evenings, I gave them a try and ordered asada and cabeza burritos. I became a regular after that night and they practically knew me by name. Their burritos are very delicious and their servings are generous. They also had quesadillas, and a variety of tacos. They also have Al Pastor which is really tasty. They do not accept credit cards but they accept Venmo payments. I now miss their tacos and burritos since I was only in La Puente for 5 weeks but would be their customer again if I go back to La Puente, California again.“

“I come here a lot with my husband and friends but today was very disappointing. I ordered a torta de asada and was very upset. 5 pieces of black aguacate and half a piece of tomato for the entire torta. Than my husband ordered some tacos and the meat wasn’t seasoned and half of the meat was burned. We are very disappointed we have never been disappointed before this is one of our favorite places to go eat. Today the people working their looked new we paid $37 for our food and are upset.“

Cabeza was the best of the tacos, as well as their salsas.

“We are from out of state & have family in San Gabriel so whenever we are visiting we look up the Tacos Jalisco truck. We don't have many (if any) food trucks where we are from, and I have been to MX several times and had some real live tacos, and these guys are spot on. I highly recommend!“

“Love this park!! Best part is that it’s calm, clean, plenty to do for both kids and adults. Kids playing area is just bubbling with kids. Lots of trees and green patches. Ideal for dogs to roam around as well. Plenty of picnic tables. Has a basket ball court, baseball playground, kids training on football, soccer all the time, a kids pool and hitting zone right next.

Has 2 parking lots which were rebuilt a year ago. It’s neat and holds more than 100 cars easily. Father section of second parking lot houses a bunch of pigeons (around 100 or so). Fun watching them gather and flock around.

My only concern is that at times a section near the main shelter tends to have a few shady people occupy the space. It has been harmless for a few years now. But still felt like mentioning here for the sake of information.“

Their large fish tacos are twice the size a regular taco - beware!!! Our order was to go and it was a pleasant surprise to see we weren't missing anything. Their salsas are very good too.

Parking: This is not s restaurant. It us a truck, so you need to drive around snd find parking, but it is worth it!“

“Very comfortable place to be in. Everyone was relaxed and you could hear the staff in the kitchen communicating getting the orders out. They have good lighting, a larger modern menu board with a great selection. They had light hearted music playing and a big tv to watch the Dodger games. I was surprised to see Birria on the menu so had to get that for sure! I think I will may this my goto spot a couple days a week so I can eat better for less and no dishes to wash.“

I was craving carne asada, but great carne asada not the bland stuff you find at most places. They city we live in DOES NOT have a single place that satisfies our taco and burritos craving. We found this place by chance and it did not disappoint. Trust the 5 star reviews. They're telling the truth. Although this is a 30-40 minute drive from home, we will gladly make the drive for this food. Oh and the horchata is the best!“

“BEST BURRITO IVE EVER HAD! Wow. Seriously. It takes a lot for me to leave a review. But I'm sitting here eating this burrito and it is probably the best burrito I've ever had. Perfect size (long not overly thick like some places do where every bite is hard to take) taste is spot on. The a la cart options out front allow me to add my toppings to each bite as I want. And this yellow sauce is PERFECT HEAT and FLAVOR. A+ GUYS.“

“I stopped by this taco truck after my usual taco stand wasn’t open—and I’m glad I gave it a try. I ordered the buche, carnitas, pastor, and cabeza tacos. The carnitas and cabeza were the best—juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right.

I also had the carne asada fries, which were hearty and satisfying. The guacamole in the carne asada fries is seriously addictive, and their salsa, along with the pickled jalapeños and red onions, added a fresh, tangy kick.

At $2.50 per taco, the prices are reasonable for the quality. I’ll definitely be coming back.
