Cafe 1919 has a great variety including the Border Grill, Sushi and much more. ... Its all a great compliment to the Fine Art ,gardens ,research and events.... The meal specials they've been having have been cleaning out their shelf selections for hot meal plates but they do have online subscription and order pick ups available as well as delivery for an extra fee. “I finally got to check this place out. I've been wanting to go since it opened.

I got the chicken and rice meal. It was really good! The only thing I would do different is ask if they could heat up my chicken. I was not expecting cold chicken with warm rice.

I got takeout to eat in my car but waited till I got home so I could warm up the chicken. It was much better. I loved the dressing and exhaustion those onions. Absolute perfection.

Staff was very friendly. The establishment is super clean. They were still baking cookies at 8:00 p.m. which is great for those who love an evening snack!“

Monthinga is good although pretty mild for my taste. More than decent warm mushy tofu. One of the best Nangyithoke. Complementary sago pudding is great too. We didn't have the time for dessert so they packed it for us. Can't recommend them enough.“

“Quality ingredients and homemade sauces. We went for girls breakfast and loved it. My friends got a chicken sandwich and tacos and I got a veggie sandwich on squaw bread with cheese and avocado. Everything was so delicious and satisfying but not heavy. Only place in LA county that tastes like you are in the city. You gotta check out the bathroom! The owner is a genius. It doesn't matter what you select you wont be disappointed! Trust me, I've almost had EVERYTHING ON THE MENU!! The wedge is a delight with caramelized bacon to drool for, or the classic Cobb you can never go wrong with. My personal favorite is the ham n brie sandwich which is an incredible palate pleaser with both sweet and savory in one!

“Came here to try a new Thai spot after going to President Thai down the street for years and wanting something different. We ordered from the dinner menu, which comes with soup or salad, egg rolls or wontons, and white rice or shrimp fried rice, a great value.

I got the chicken pad Thai and everything was so flavorful and delicious. My boyfriend ordered the yellow curry and it was absolutely amazing, rich and creamy with a coconut base that honestly reminded me of my mom’s Vietnamese curry.

The owner was also incredibly kind and made sure we were well taken care of throughout the meal. Such a welcoming experience. We’ll definitely be back soon!“

“Love this park!! Best part is that it’s calm, clean, plenty to do for both kids and adults. Kids playing area is just bubbling with kids. Lots of trees and green patches. Ideal for dogs to roam around as well. Plenty of picnic tables. Has a basket ball court, baseball playground, kids training on football, soccer all the time, a kids pool and hitting zone right next.

Has 2 parking lots which were rebuilt a year ago. It’s neat and holds more than 100 cars easily. Father section of second parking lot houses a bunch of pigeons (around 100 or so). Fun watching them gather and flock around.

My only concern is that at times a section near the main shelter tends to have a few shady people occupy the space. It has been harmless for a few years now. But still felt like mentioning here for the sake of information.“
