“Very crispy chicken with friendly owner. The chicken was freshly fried and juicy on the inside. We picked yuzu sauce which is mayo with citrus taste which helped tone down the usual fatty feeling when you eat frying food but I’d say something more flavorful (sweet/spicy) can help if you want more seasoning. The yuzu sauce helps me taste the umami from the chicken. Overall very happy with my karaage!“

“We love the pizza and pasta at South Bay Pizza. Our favorite is any of their pastas. Their chicken alfredo is our favorite, but we also love their chicken carbonara and their Italian sausage pasta. It is all really good.

We picked up our order this time and it was perfect. It took minutes to heat up. We would have loved to dine there, it is so cute and clean, but we just did not have time.

We also think their service is excellent. I love it when a to go order is exactly as ordered and I don't have to open everything first to check it. The staff is very nice.

First off I hesitate to post my photos, we were going to drive our wings 30 miles home to eat but the smell and knowing fresh is best we pulled into a shopping parking lot with crap lighting, I apologize in advance! It does NOT show the yumminess that GoGo Bird delivers!
Go Go Bird is in a very nice, clean, fun area near UCR, the staff was extremely welcoming and friendly! A very nice group of young people! They were so nice and helpful.
I like that the menu is small, do a few things exceptionally well, not a lot of things half a$$ed. You place your order and your food is prepared freshly right in front of you, it takes a few minutes but so worth it! I ordered the wings and they were delicious!!! Cooked to perfection, batter fried not a crumb coating, a delicious crispy batter! The wings were a very nice size, cut into drums and flats, the sauces that I tried were very very good! We tried the chili crisp, Japanese ranch and a mustard sauce, all great! Even the yummy roll with honey that comes with it is great, pickles are good too! I can’t wait to go back and try sides! Weird to be so excited about wings but these hit right! Ugh to post the pic or not?? Remember, I ate in the car because I couldn’t wait and the light is, you’ll see lol.

Atmosphere is nothing special, just a clean area with tables and chairs. We got the Korean Galbi burrito, which was good but had too many raw onions, and the sou garlic Korean chicken wings, which were as good as any we’ve had in the area! Fried potato balls were a unique addition to the meal. Would recommend them if you’re wanting a little treat, but they’re not essential. Pretty good prices for generous servings!“

Now let me tell you i very impressed by the smell. Plus the container was perfect fully closed with air pockets so the 🐔 could breath. Now this always makes a difference no matter how the food smell. “Overall, the food is clean, not overly salty or heavy, which makes it perfect for both adults and kids. One thing that really stood out was the open kitchen, where the Japanese owner-chef cooks everything himself—it definitely adds to the trust and experience.
We ordered chicken teriyaki, chicken katsu, beef fried rice, cold udon, and a beef bowl. The beef bowl was especially impressive—generous portions of tender meat and fresh, vibrant vegetables made it both satisfying and well-balanced. It was also very kid-friendly, which I really appreciated.
The chicken teriyaki and chicken katsu were both excellent, and the beef fried rice was flavorful and hearty—my child loved it. And especially my favorite, the cold udon, tasted even better than what I’ve had in Japan. It’s one of those dishes that you start craving again the very next day.
In my opinion, the Japanese owner-chef has an exceptional ability to transform simple, everyday dishes into high-quality meals that feel like something you’d get at a fine dining restaurant in Japan.
Another thing I loved was that the food didn’t leave me feeling thirsty afterward, which usually tells me the seasoning is well-balanced and thoughtfully prepared. If you prefer stronger flavors, you can always ask for extra sauce or seasoning on the side.
The portions were generous enough that we took leftovers home, and even the next day, everything still tasted great after reheating.
It might be a little hard to find at first since it’s tucked away, but it’s absolutely worth it. Parking was easy when we visited for a Friday lunch, which is always a plus when dining with a little one.

“Working from out of town and was craving some good chicken. Found this place and will be a for sure place I go to when I am out this way. I got the spicy original wings since it was my first time I got 8 just to see how i would like them and they did not dissappoint. The size of the wings were big I filled up on 5 and normally I can eat a lot. I got a side of fries with some ranch and their secret sauce (wasn’t my favorite) as well the hot spicy sauce (was delicious). Can’t wait to try more on the menu. First time having Korean chicken. The food was fresh, tasted great and plentiful. And I couldn't finish my meal because it was so much food. I highly recommend this place. The service was good also.
