“We just wanted to post how much we enjoyed dinner tonight. We were a party of four, I had your Dine Elk Grove special dinner, my wife the sausage, the other couple the burger and Sauerbraten. We all enjoyed both our meals and the beers! Typical, fresh fried German food, excellent sides and a great selection of beers! The strudel with whipped cream was the way to end the meal. The highlight was truly our server, Kylee! She has a larger than life personality and was really fun to banter with. She really made the experience fun….we’ll be back for sure, most likely on a Wednesday night Which we understand is the one night a week she works. If in Elk Grove, give them a try. “We stopped in today (20 June 2023) while on a ride from Kentucky to the West Coast. Veto and Michelle welcomed us and treated us like we were long lost family. You can't find to many places like this. Top notch business and a great bar. Highly recommend.“

“Okay I want to first start off by saying this place is its own separate restaurant.

I call that out because it is next to a fusion Mexican restaurant that is its own thing. They are not connected to each other and have completely different menus.

With that out of the way I want to try and shout from the hills about elk Grove about how amazing this place is. My friend and I wanted to try a new place for lunch and I popped up my Yelp app and this was one of the top 10 things that showed up on my app. I told her the name of the restaurant and she said that she's been wanting to check this out for a while. So we both decided let's do it the pictures that we saw on the main homepage were super enticing especially the tacos and when I did a quick click everything else looked stupendous.

We came to this restaurant around 12:30ish on Tuesday March 3rd. When we arrived we saw that there were at least three other tables seated and we were greeted quickly by the individual behind the cash register asking us if we wanted to dine in or take to go. We told them we would like to dine in and we were told we could pick any table that we wanted and they would be with a shortly.

Walking into the space itself was very comforting for both my friend and i. The art on the wall especially the handmade frame that was close to the patio doors was super cute and heartwarming. What really got us were the pictures along the wall near the restrooms that show the family and the effort put behind the food.

The great thing about this place is the menu is one-sided and I say that because it makes it easier to decide what you want to try. Considering that we have not been here before my friend and I decided to do a little smorgasbord of all the tacos because it was Taco Tuesday so why not. She got the vaquero tacos and then I got an assortment that included al pastor pulled pork fish and carne asada. We added an order of the chips guac and salsa, a coca-cola, and one IPA that was on tap.

I will tell you right now the food was amazing!!!

The charred outside of the tortilla on the vaquero tacos was sublime because it held the juicy delicious meat inside so well that crunch after you dipped it into the consummate was just unbelievable. I will also say both my friend and I are a fan of having a little bit of that chard taste and so again the char plus the juicy me plus the consummate plus the cilantro and the pickled vegetables was just amazing.“

“Fast service. Our waiter & his team were friendly, attentive, and fast to get our food out. Vienna the Supervisor and our waiter checked on us often, which my party of 8 appreciated very much. It was cool to see the robo-waiter/waitress, but there’s no substitute yet for excellent customer service from humans. Will be coming back to this location. “We came by to extend surprise BD celebration & visit w/our friends longer. I'd never been there before but it was exactly the kind of place to go. Two pool tables, a good music option (you can't call it a jukebox anymore). Really good bar selection & Lacey who was on as BT was funny, friendly & attentive. Not just to the regulars, but everyone. We had a great time.“

“This place has been revamped since the prior pics on google. Great bar that reasonably priced. The bar has available outlets to plug in chargers for cell phones. Bathrooms are clean. There is a pool table, dart board, booths, and outside seating. Super friendly bar staff!“
