About D&D Dim Sum Bakery

The place has a large selection of dim sum, buns, and a few other non-dim sum items. The layout is the same as the other location, with just a few tables and lots of parking. Popular items include shrimp shumai, pork and chive dumplings, shrimp & pork siu mai, shrimp & chives dumpling, chicken feet, Ha Gao, shrimp balls, egg yolk pastry, curry beef pie, baked BBQ pork buns, frozen buns, portugese tart and pineapple buns. Many reviewers say the shrimp shumai is right up there with the best and the pork and chive dumplings are very tender with chives that play against it extremely well. The egg yolk pastry is perfect inside that pastry and the curry beef pie has an amazing flavor even if it is not very spicy. The baked BBQ pork buns are absolutely delicious and the Rice Noodle Roll w/shrimp, Steamed BBQ Pork Bun and Portuese egg Tarts are also very good. Prices are extremely reasonable, comparable to a dine in restaurants and the place takes plastic regardless of $20 or more. The to‑go dim sum items are placed on racks and display cases, all labeled and individually priced. A little line was there when arrived but it moved quickly. The spent for two people is about $20. Will definitely be back, though one day with cold shrimp balls and tasteless chicken feet was disappointing.

Favorite to go dimsum spot in Sacramento region. Even better than some of the sit down dimsum restaurants like Well Season! We like to get the shrimp & pork siu mai, shrimp & chives dumpling, chicken feet, and their frozen buns. Their baked items like portugese tart and pineapple buns are great as well. ALL SO DELICIOUS!

Easy to find parking, lots of tables to eat there, definitely worth a try!
We when here for take out order, they provided a large selections of fresh dim-sum. They also has some frozen items to purchase to go. We purchased the Rice Noodle Roll w/shrimp, Steamed BBQ Pork Bun, Shrimp Shumai, Portuese egg Tarts all items was delicious.
Finally, a take-out dim sum place in Elk Grove. We frequent the one the Pocket time to time when we’re there. Always enjoyed it. My family gets the usual: shrimp dumpling, pork and shrimp sui mai, custard buns, and shrimp rolls.
