It’s a fast casual Mexican restaurant with custom bowls, burritos, large tacos and street tacos. Proteins range from chicken, pork, Birria, beef and more. I enjoyed my first visit and look to return soon.
Ok so I've been coming to Savi pretty much every week now and I'm not even sorry about it. Everything is hella fresh. I always get the burrito bowl with carne asada, and they load it up with the corn salsa, pickled onions, pico, the works. It's honestly my go-to in Elk Grove when I want a burrito bowl, and I don't really look anywhere else anymore.

Glad to see a new local Mexican restaurant opening in Elk Grove especially with a similar concept like Chipotle in BYO bowl/burrito but with more options/customization! We order to go and I purchase their BYO bowl with El Pastor and love the differ option and their special orange SAVI sauce and the generosity of meat/topping! SAVI Mexican Grill is a fast casual Mexican restaurant that combines the style of a taqueria and Chipotle. The menu is split into two sides: a build-your-own burrito or bowl setup with protein choices, and a side with street tacos, quesabirria, and quesadillas. Proteins range from chicken, pork, Birria, beef and more. Pricing is really good and the flavor is even better. The ingredients are fresh and delicious, and portions are generous. The meat options are well seasoned and juicy, and the Birria tacos are delicious and crispy. The quesabirria tacos are top-tier, with lots of cheese and birria meat, and the consome is flavorful. The bowls give a lot of rice and a good amount of meat. The asada meat is a bit bland and chewy. The orange sauce is like a spicy chipotle sauce. There are two sauces and they are also very great. The salsa are nothing special but pretty good. The space is super clean and the staff are insanely friendly. The service was great and friendly. A must try.
