I was blown away by the artistic wall murals, the outdoor decorations and seating opportunities, the inflow of people of diverse backgrounds that came to satisfy their palette with the mouth-watering taste of Caribbean cuisine and tantalizing delicacies. I applaud Chef Ann and her Team for an outstanding job of keeping the Caribbean culture alive in this very quaint section of Oakland California.“

“I WOULD GIVE 6 STARS IF I COULD. As a non native Nigerian, I always seek out Nigerian restaurants when I travel to the larger cities. Usually, something keeps me from giving a five-star review. Sometimes, the service is slow, sometimes the person serving the food is sullen. This place is the exception. The food is good, the seven is quick. The owner, Jahswill, serves you with a smile. The bathroom is clean. Parking was easy. Highly recommended. Will be back.“

“I got this delivered via Caviar so can’t speak to atmosphere (I think it’s a ghost kitchen maybe?) but the order was fast as heck and legit one of the best meals I’ve eaten in recent memory.A ton of food, generous portions, and just mind blowingly tasty. I got the pork bowl and every element was perfect. The meat was tender and so flavorful. Every combination of elements in the bowl creates a perfect bite.I can be kind of picky about food and this was a revelation, especially on a rainy winter night.I also ordered the bacon Brussels sprouts but I’m so full from the bowl I’ll save those for tomorrow.The world’s loudest YUM!!!!!“

“The food was DELICIOUS!! As a Jamaican, its so hard finding Jamaican spots that are authentic but Flavas get my stamp of approval. I got festival as well and it was nice and fluffy. The only complaint I have was that I ordered on the site and they were having problems so I waited a little long for my food but other than that, their food is great.“

“So fire, among the best food I’ve had in the Bay Area. I’ve been long craving good Caribbean food on the west coast and have only been to a couple who can compare to places like Toronto as far as Jamaican food goes.

My lady and I got Oxtail with rice and peas and steamed cabbage, Curry Shrimp (actually spicy) and the Chicken stew with pumpkin and spinners.

She has the photos but I’ll edit this review and share them later, worth every penny.“
