“Mike our server was energetic, friendly, and informative. Really excellent. The food was all delicious and the servings generous. The menu is "Latin American fusion". E.g. arepa de pollo, overflowing with fried chicken, avocado, and other goodies. One of us had the chicken ahi soup and loved it. Another was delighted with his thin sliced beef (under especiales on the menu). We had both the plantain appetizers, which were very different from each other and delicious. Tarta de Alfajores was incredible and the cheesecake also yummy. The decor was interesting and bright. Our only issues were very high noise level at times (but not the whole time) from happy customers' conversations and slightly slow service, which we attributed to the fact the place was completely full (and for which our server apologized, unprompted). We will definitely go back! It's a very small place, and we were unable to reserve online for the time we wanted, but successful in person. I wish I had taken more pictures of the food, but it looked and tasted so good I didn't think of it until dessert.“
“The food is delicious but lacks consistency. I've ordered the same dishes multiple times and often it's different portions, different packaging, different cuts of chicken etc. The okra soup was super watery today and not slimy the way it should be. I will continue to order because everything else I've ordered has been great. I just wish they still had larger portions for the $25+ plates and a little more consistency.“
“Small takeout spot. Pattie was decent. The filling was good but the Pattie was just a little too thick for my liking but I would definitely try it again... The smoothie was fire tho. So definitely give them a try. Service was excellent though, they seem to be very knowledgeable of their “
“Phenomenal ! First time trying them (delivery) and this is easily in my TOP 5 food places in the WHOLE BAY AREA! I scooped two prefix 4 course meals (beef patties, oxtail, blueberry blue match lemonade, and dessert of the day - a blue pastry & currant pastry) plantains, Accra salt fish fritters and mango turmeric peach cobbler. I wanted to try a little bit of a lot. The smell was heavenly, the portions were generous and the first bite made my eyes roll back. I can't imagine what this must taste like in person. This was the PERFECT pre Valentine's Day surprise dinner! Small but amazing touches that put this over the top: The salad had tomatoes and cucumbers, not just random lettuce. And the dressing was on the side (so we can control how much) plus it was well balanced in flavor. The oxtail was separate from the rice in its juices so the rice didn't get mushy and the oxtail was flavorful and juicy. The desserts were the perfect amount of sweet. It didn't taste like just sugar, you could really experience the spices.“
“Yummy food and a welcoming staff. I enjoy coming here with my son. I especially like the beef and curry chicken patties. The staff is very warm, the music is nice, and the hot food feels good to eat on a cold afternoon.I know Peaches is a lunch spot, but I wish they would open earlier so I can have these for breakfast before work too.“
“food was delicious! and drinks were fun tooI tried a spicy mezcal and tequila frozen drink - white storm I thinkoooo it was spicy!!! ?? in a good wayusually not a fan of mushrooms but their veggie empanadas were ?the sweet cinnamon dip that came with the maduros was super good too - I’ve never tried it like that before10/10 ?“
“I normally order the wings, warm Spinach salad, new style potatoes, chicken pallard, and the beans and rice. This visit was a short visit and I was alone and discovered the arroz con pollo. That's going to be my new favorite. It has plenty of chicken, peppers, olives and comes with beans as well!! Yaaasss!!! The white sangria on this evening quenched my thirst.“
“The service was exceptional even through the phone; my husband went in and FaceTimed me so I could see the menu. Tonight we decided to give it a shot and I am mostly pleased. We ordered the combination plate which consist of curry chicken, jerk chicken and oxtail(s); callilou; beef patty; and coco bread. I enjoyed my food but my complaint is the way the meat was cut. They took drum sticks and I believe the breast (because it had all of those back bones) and diced it so there were bone pieces throughout. This made it difficult to enjoy and was dangerous for our 1 year old...It also hurt my tooth. I do understand that the price of food is sky high so you gotta do what you gotta do so I tried not to be too harsh with the amount of stars.“
“If you're a fan of delicious burritos and are looking for a truly amazing meal, look no further than the al pastor burrito. This dish is a true masterpiece of flavor and texture, and is sure to satisfy even the most discerning of taste buds. The first thing that strikes you about the al pastor burrito is its aroma. The delicious combination of savory meat, rice and beans creates a tantalizing scent that is sure to make your mouth water. As you take your first bite, you'll be greeted with a burst of flavor that is unlike anything else you've ever taste. The meat is usually grilled to perfection, which adds a smoky flavor to the dish.Overall, if you're looking for a truly amazing meal, you can't go wrong with the al pastor burrito. Its combination of bold flavors, tender meat, and guac make it a dish that is sure to satisfy, and it's no wonder that it has become my most fire burrito.“
“Greeeeat food!! As a jamaican born and raised di food tun up! Ive used them for my job where I took them to the restaurant and catered to my place of employment. To say the staff was friendly would be an UNDERSTATEMNT. I loved it and I willlll be back!Big up the whole crew. One love“
“I'm in no position to judge Jamaican food. The last time I had jerk chicken was back in the 90s at Caribbean Gardens in Burlingame. My son's girlfriend is half Jamaican and eats here regularly. That's endorsement enough for me. The seamoss drink was a new experience for me. I bought a couple bottles to go, after drinking one at my meal. They were out of the beef cocktail patties and I was a little bummed. This is a tiny little restaurant spot and I totally understand. If you want to give Jamaican food a try, this is the spot in Oakland.“
“Had the jerk chicken with the rice and cabbage my girl got the plantains instead of cabbage and we both was in each other plate! Then the ginger lemonade was amazing but I love ginger, and the sorrel hibiscus drink also very dangerous. Great place to eat“
