“Well dang this was an excellent find in our travels! A scoop Sticky Monkey on top of a scoop of Mocha Fudge was AMAZING! EACH WERE INDIVIDUALLY EXCELLENT AND TOGETHER THEY WERE ALSO AMAZING!

Also sampled the avocado ice cream. Don't sleep on that. That's pretty dang good.

“Have been coming to this place for delicious pastries for years, but today I came for their meatball sandwich on dutch crunch bread...and I loved every bit of it. They are very generous with their meatballs and cheese, and the bread was as fresh as you could get. Service was super friendly too, highly recommend.“

James and the Giant Cupcake made our wedding cake & cupcake tower - not only were they DELICIOUS (and vegan and gluten-free!!!) and got tons of compliments/friends asking us where we got them/where they could get more, but they were also a dream to work with and made them beautiful! Tina, the owner is amazing at what she does and puts much so effort into her work. I can’t pinpoint a specific dessert because they can whip up just about anything. My favorite in particular is Tina’s delicious red velvet cupcakes. The treats are tasty and made with love. More than that, Tina provides superior customer service. Tina’s staff at the UC Berkeley location is always going above and beyond to make sure that everything is perfect and with a smile. “Dennis, the owner, is awesome. Great selection of bakery pastries like scones, cinnamon rolls, etc. He also has freshly baked French bread and dinner rolls. I personally go there for some coffee and a breakfast croissant, along with some French bread for dinner. Prices are way more affordable than the lee’s next door. Glad to give small business owners like Dennis my business.“

After some delicious deliberation and friendly service from the clerk (while the bakers worked away in the back), I decided to try the Banana Cream cake, and it was everything I could have hoped for.

“You definitely need to know what order here:
Egg tarts and BBQ pork buns are made fresh in the morning and honestly quite the hidden gem here. I'm an egg tart connoisseur, and for a hole in the wall in the Mission, it actually is one of the better egg tarts in SF, in fact, the peninsula. (Try to buy them earlier in the day though).

Many of the other items are a gamble though; many of the cakes don't seem fresh. It's probably best to ask the employees when each thing was baked.“
