“First time having caspers since I was a kid. I live in Texas now but came to Cali to visit family. I ordered the chilli cheese dog but instead of tomatoes I added jalapenos. It was so wonderful!! This business has been around for years as I am now 31. Very much a staple in the Oakland Bay area community. “Easily my go to favorite place in Oakland and favorite place to bring people that are visiting. All the food is really tasty and affordable. The drink menu is so thoughtful and wonderfully crafted. I like that the place is a giant horseshoe shaped bar so it’s like dinner and a show because these bartenders are working their butts off. One of the best nightlife experiences in the East Bay, hands-down. Oh, also, bonus points for the popcorn machine in the back!“

“I ordered a cheeseburger, fries, and a cold drink. The burger was served hot and fresh with a perfectly toasted bun and a juicy, flavorful patty. “This place looks a little 'sketchy', BUT the food is very good. I was working an event at the Oakland Colesium, and this was the only place you could walk to. If you can speak a little Spanish, it goes a long way. I got the Cubana sandwich, and it was so big, I could only eat half of it.“

“It was late night order and I’ve never had a burger dog before but wanted to try since frisco fried out them on the scene back in the day. Ordered my door dash and couldn’t wait. As soon as they arrive I could smell the goodness so I take my pics and dive in.Burger Dog: Hefty on the meat, felt like it was more beef than an actual burger and I wanna say easier to eat. Only change I would add bacon and that’s my bad. Very good burger dog!Bacon Hot Dog: Butterflied Beef Dog with crispy bacon! Another hit.Very simple menu options but they hit it out the park. Would definitely double back to this spot to try them fresh.
Parking: It’s on 20th street so not impossible but keep your eyes open spots get taken fast

“I highly recommend this place. I was passing by and I looked at the reviews and they were good so I stopped and ordered tacos de tripa, taco de chicharrón, and taco dorado de pollo. Everything was great fresh, hot, great flavor, and great service. My food came out quickly. I'm really picky especially with tacos de tripa. They were so good.“

“One of the best corn dogs I’ve ever had, perfectly crispy on the outside and freshly warm. The rest of the group was just as happy with their orders, which says a lot about the options available.
Prices are on the higher end, but that’s pretty expected given the location on the pier.
Service was alright with nothing particularly to standout, but it got the job done without any issues.

“I had bad experience with Crystal Geyser plain sparkling water from San Francisco store It smelled like chemicals and I tried 5 bottles so far and it’s the same. Please be careful drinking this water“

“This is a nice little hot dog place. When I say little, it really is small, and you will end up eating outside on the footpath. But for the price, the taste is awesome, and if you get a chance to chat with the staff, it gets really interesting. Definite berkeley visit.“
